good colour scheme and proper riding position

Yes i need a touring bike and the nc750x was too tall for me. Andy passed this place on his way home from work and spotted the Tracer outside. The guys are awesome in there. Just so happened this nc was there and although its a bit loud for me they did us an amazing deal for both bikes. Both one owners and less than 7k on clocks. Tracer has all the luggage with it too.

    KJM Superbikes.

Has anyone had any issues with test rides from dealers? I know pretty much all of them stopped them but with restrictions easing have they now started up again? :?

I have seen the odd place saying they are doing click and collect and stores are open but nothing really on test rides :?

    BMW are.

I had to take the carbs of the shadow 4 times until I realised that I would be better doing the complete job properly end to end.

Then the bike was happy and decided to work.

"A shortcut isn't always the quickest route..."

I have done the bike end to end. There was rust and shit inside the tank but must've been on the roof of it. Then someone, not naming names, run her out of petrol. So big clean up job again but tanks getting done elsewhere.

  8. After failing Mod 1 i was somewhat nervous. Hubs went first and looking at his face as he came back i thought he had failed and if he had i think i would've gone to pieces but no worries there as he passed.

It was done in Southport last friday afternoon and people, cars, lorries and push bikes were throwing themselves infront of me. Its a damned good thing i can do a good emergency stop !!! Happened on my car test too 🤣 I had turned into a road and was scanning for speed repeaters, couldnt see any so kept at 30....just as i spotted a 40 repeater in the distance the examiner spoke and said its a 40 and also at that very same time a white van nearly side swiped me overtaking us. So thanks for that and may a 1000 fleas infest your armpits forever more. So that was a minor.

Didnt indicate off a roundabout 2nd minor.

No second left life saver as i turned back into test centre road. 3rd minor. Passed mod 2 so I've no complaints. Examiner Rob was spot on. All my training was done by Wayne at Riverview Rder Training in Tarleton. Awesome experience but incredibly stressful and glad i never have to do it again !!!

  9. From the start i had an issue with the bike i was on. It just felt extremely top heavy. U turns are a thing and i struggle with them. However by the time we got out of lockdown to do our mod 1 after 2 cancellations there was a Suzuki sv for me to ride....perfect.  We had one refresher and the ride to the test centre.

The examiner was awesome, i couldn't have asked for better but i failed...he looked more gutted than me....heres why though.

Engine breaking on a big bike is fairly instant and what i did was rolled off the throttle in the speed trap, losing a precious 2mph which had me too slow. So i failed on the swerve avoidance. Engine breaking i jad heard of and knew what it meant but just didnt realise how quickly the speed drops when done on a bigger bike.

    Did a lovely U turn though 🤣
