  1. Expensive £36 for him to say it's too loud Thanks for your help guys ... wow just realised 6 years a biker
  2. £63 insurance fully comp i'm worried about the race exhaust though, it's stupid loud compared to my 125 at least the 'not for road use' has been buffed off.
  3. Ha-ha its gone to bed now must have missed the arrow. Cheers. Now to get it MOTd without tax?
  4. After trying for ages to get it to start and hooking it up to my car I realised it's not like my CBF 125. It has a choke been a while since I had one. It was about 13 degrees wouldn't start with it pushed forward towards choke symbol. Pulled it opposite direction it revved quite high 2-3k rpm so pushed it forward a bit till it settled. Please explain what is going on thanks
  5. How come the Suzuki manual for my gsf600 says to use Three bond silicone for its cylinder head cover gasket? I've used similar stuff before from Halfords and it was a bloody disaster, but I eventually managed to get some sort of gasket going.
  6. You can get higher watt LEDs yes, just check what fitment they are then look on ebay. Don't buy the cheapest as they will stop working within a week.
  7. Am I supposed to know what it is or did I skip too much of the drivel?
  8. it's a 125....take your helmet off when you find it's struggling and you'll notice your hair flaps about quite a lot more because of the head wind. When it's nice and speedy that's the tail wind helping you.
  9. The fuel tanks were coated with an anti corrosive they forgot to clean them after shipping, it destroys the fuel pump. I got mine done under the 2 yr warranty. Was advised by Abingdon Honda that I didn't need to install an inline fuel filter.
  10. keep this thread updated if you do with pics please
  11. got stopped at a police check point at 1 in the morning. checked my rear plate was legal asked what I was doing and where I was going. was on my meal break and sent me on my way without doing a PNC.
  12. bulb gone in instrument cluster, thought just reach round. nope, got to take whole front fairing off and remove cluster from bike what a pita. it's not even in the manual suggesting it's a main dealer job, luckily it's in the Haynes. think I'll replace them all to save me doing it again any time soon.
  13. Have done quite a few sessions at pre season training now. My waist looks pukka just need to stop giving myself treats though for the hard work outs. Really loving the running side, but I can't run non competitively it's boring!
  14. well I'm 12.5 stone now with a chubby waist was 13 stone but all muscle, stopped rugby while having kids and I kept eating same as I did. muscle just turned to jelly over night don't like running, know too many older folk with dodgy knees from too much running.
  15. Turned 32 recently, I used to wear 32" waist they started getting tight so I switched to 34" only for them to be too loose. It seems 33" stuff costs a lot and is only by the big brands in TK Maxx. So I get a measuring tape out for this kit at my rugby club and it says 36-38" depending on which ring of fat I choose edit: I'm turning on the wii fit now
  16. I won't be buying your CBR 125 if you ever come to sell it
  17. Took me 3 years to get an interview after paper sifting and then an assessment, I had given up bothering at that point and subsequently flunked it
  18. guessing it's fuel injected? have same with my bike, is worse when chain is very slack. though 20mm is the norm on mine. practice feathering the clutch when changing gear.
  19. managed to get cable out of spindle at work. lucky for me I've got a very good condition spare in the shed.
  20. haha I'm at work so can't whip wheel off to check. not working at all. part looks same as old CG I believe the metal knob that attaches to the cable breaks. it's £10 odd new so not end of the world.
