  1. Another for pinlock, is a must. Paid around £20 for mine. Worth every penny. Has SPF 50 protection too I believe ohhhh I've just seen that ProtecTINT insert....bit steep but I reckon i'll get that next time.
  2. Just bought a tank protector off ebay, paid more than most of them on there thinking I was getting quality. Nope it's worse than the £1.99 ones, plus it's the size of my hand. Have started processing a refund. Don't trust those reviews, Ebay haven't accepted any of my negative reviews on products. But was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Just want a plain tank protector to cover the glue from the old one that peeled off.
  3. wd40 is fine to clean with the pads removed. all excess wiped dry.
  4. Will try them next time, ordered and on way from Germany.
  5. Can't get both the same for my bandit, I've got Battlax BT20s on at the moment, have loved the grip wet and dry, but not the mileage (they are quite old, but had plenty of mileage left when I bought it). Front pilot 3 for £75.59 Back pilot 4 for £99.30 thoughts?

  10. tappets, left them as is. They are 0.01 up one down some 0.02mm apart, I won't get them closer. And my feeler gauges have seen better days now.
  11. Is it okay, that though different are within manufacturer tolerances? On the bandit
  12. I can order lengths of pipe from Suzuki rather than the expensive original cut to fit/shape pipes?
  13. What is the internal diameter of the fuel lines please? Looked everywhere, conflicting reports mostly in imperial too which doesn't help.
  14. Now if he'd just kept a log of what he's had done would make it so much easier
  15. Front brakes binding. Have just spoke to him again and now he's not sure. Thinks it might actually have been the back his friend did for him. Which would make more sense as it's fine.
  16. The previous owner (bro in law) says he had the seals replaced just over a year ago. If I clean them will I need to replace them in that instance? wow nice price on those...hum those triumph ones are probably in much better nick than my 1998 brakes? hum....my bike is black and gold so would suit.
  17. Okay be on your head if I'm push biking to work cheers for the help
  18. what are the chances of a 16k '98 bike pistons being corroded ? I don't want to strip them then have to wait for pistons if I need them

  21. On ebay £154 to refurbish excluding pistons if they need doing using OEM seals or do it myself? oh I've just seen I can buy the pistons and seals from Suzuki for £78...it says kit does that mean both sides or just one?
  22. Get a 1000w laser to remove the rust. Just use an inline filter till petrol leaks out then get it professionally repaired.
  23. 3-5 years replace. Replaced my last at 3 years as the strap was threading. At 3 years with current and it's doing well. Caberg make.
