I think you should all be aware that there are 2 types of tyre plug temporary - fitted from outside the tyre http://www.motofab.com/images/repair/string_plug/plug_insert.jpg permanent - fitted from inside the tyre and Vulcanized http://home.comcast.net/~netters2/pics11-3-03/bigimages/MeZ3TirePlug.jpg the temporary plug is only a get-you-home repair and should be replaced with a permanent plug asap a permanent plug should last the life of the tyre

  17. The spindle doesn't need lubrication The only reason to grease it is to stop it from rusting and to make it easier to remove The heat from braking will bake oil on, grease is better
