if its the starter motor then its worth taking it apart and checking the condition of the brushes inside it that run on the armatuer it could just be them worn out

give it a tap with something see if that makes it work also check battery is fully charged as that will make it just click if batery is flat

i would stay well away from it as its not running right can be several problems and you could end up spending a fortune on it trying to sort it

is it the starter motor or the starter solinoid near the battery thats just clicking, sounds like u have got water in somewhere

sounds like it might be running slightly rich could be due to 33bhp kit if fitted whip a plug out that will give you good indication of how its running

i went to tax my bike online but couldnt as it was not showing up as insured online not even on askmid it showed up today same time as my docs arrived so missed out on great riding weather over weekend f**k it

first thing you have to NOT do is start the engine untill you have changed or repaired damaged casing as running bike with no oil will wreck it.drain whatoil is left in the engine and remove and replace casing new gasket refill with oil.remove spark plugs as the cylinders might be full of petrol and then try and turn engine over with plugs out do it by hand if you can rather than starter motor incase it is full of petrol dont want plug sparking just as it chucks fuel out of plug hole.indicators and lights not working check usual things like bulbs as the shock could ofblown them and as bullet said flas rate will return to normall once you have both front and rear bulbs working again

they sometimes go onto the engine mounting bolt nearest the battery try but to be honest any good earth point will do.if onto mounting bolt it should have the nut that side of the engine so you dont have to take the bolt itself out

are you sure the breather hole in the cap isnt blocked as that will make it run rough or got a trapped fuel pipe or vacumm pipe that r uns from inlet rubber in front of carb onto fuel tap or could be internals of fuel tap have worn away and blocked hole that fuel runs through

yep it looks like its just the plastic chrome cap that covers the hole for swinging arm bolt

would of said leave it on so that any oncoming trafic also know what you are planning to do

you shouldnt need to drill any holes in unless your cables run through the handlebars should be able to unscrew your controls remove bars fit new ones refit controls

think you will find that the superdream ones can be modified to fit,normally on the old suzuki gsx range the superdream is cure for same problem

you have to make sure it is going in as even as possible or it will just jam up

use something to push it back in gently across the flat face of the piston but it does look like the caliper needs a service but for now use something to get even leverage to push it back in

some bikes have a large circlip round the centre holding the sprocket on as well otherwise it just needs gentle tapping round it to beak the seal made from the dirt

i would do them myself but as you are getting shop to change them one way to save money on labour is take the wheel off at home take it to them in the car let them change bearings then off home and refit wheel.will save you the time they would charge for removing and refitting the wheel

not been for the last 4 years now but used to go every year i think its the best rally of the summer as well and nope im not going this year either

sounds like the oil pump is blocked or given up the top end will distroy itself if you keep runing it like this it need looking at without running it any more
