  1. I am surprised you can tell the difference
  2. Every petrol station was closed. So I just kept riding til I found one. By riding at 56mph I made it to the bp garage near Damon's steak house at Lincoln. There was no fuel jn my tank when I checked. My 17litre tank took 17.2litres to fill it lol. 59 miles with the fuel light on.. a personal best that is worthy of a gold medal. And cadwell bike nights are shit btw.
  3. Woo hoo. And that frees his ducati ride for cal. I guess I'll wait for tech3 to call me regarding cals ride
  4. time for a gamble.. well a mathmatically calculated gamble lol. bye bye biaggi and lorenzo and tinmouth.. hello guiliani, dovi and brookes
  5. Did you have any particular order in mind as I have just got back from the gym and I'm quite tired.
  6. Get older friends, who no longer celebrate birthdays and dread the major milestones such as 40 !! Simples I have no idea to whom you refer.. I'm only 29!
  7. ipod + speaker = keswick no one will neither care nor notice the difference.
  8. so what youre really saying is that your girlfriend has complained that youre spending too much time away from her and that your only allowed out to play or one night instead of two.
  9. what a strange weekend. silverstone was great as a viewing spectacle but rubbish for points.. the league looks like we all have the same bloody team lol. nearly everyone stayed where they are and only two people moved up the table
  10. whilst riding up there a few weeks back one question popped into my head that i cannot figure out... why the hell doesnt everyone who lives in scotland ride a bike???? the roads were effin awesome. there was hardly any traffic. only saw one police car in three days and there are petrol stations even in the remotest of locations. everyone in the UK who rides should make the pilgrimage to scotland at least once.
  11. i managed to snap the throttle cable connector cam on the carbs last night. f**k IT dont suppose anyone has a spare throttle linkage for a mikuni flatside carb assembly from a 1985 gsxr750?? rocking.horse.poo.
  12. That is exactly what I meant. Math works. but you cannot factor in this sort of variable.
  13. was bored yesterday at work.. very bored. i worked the numbers for each of my current and planned rider combinations. i worked out the average points scored per rider/team per race, the cost of each of those points compared to the riders cost etc. i now know which team combinations offer the better point:cost ratio. who would of thought that it would be better value for money to have jenny tinmouth partnering tommy hill rather than hill and brookes in the same team makes weighting each round easier, based on the amount of race meets for each class. i have even projected what each combination of riders would be likely to score for the rest of the season if they continued having the same luck/results. based on the math, i have planned exactly what changes to make over the remaining races. what could possibly go wrong. apart from rain/illness/crashes/injuries/quitting/bautista etc just a shame that i didnt do it at round 2 as i doubt a final score of 1452 for me and 1601 for rach will be enough..... not when others have blind luck on their side. eh, techno?

    issue with dealership

call Yamaha Uk and complain. speak with MD of the dealer and give him grief. inform trading standards too as there may well have been previuos complaints about them. dont ever trust a single word that comes out of the citizens advice! they gave my ex a complete load of bollocks relating to her debt and how to deal with banks etc. none of it was correct and the she nearly had to declare insolvancy becuase of them. when she complained to the CAB that what their "adiviser" had advised was jibberish and had ended up with her in further finacial strife they said "we are staffed by volunteers and any advice should be verified before following it. the CAB cannot be held responsible if an advisor gets it wrong". they are worse than pointless, they are dangerous. you might as well ask for advice from strangers on a forum..

    Tank Repair

if its in the centre of the tank in fromt to f your crotch, could you not just use filler and then cover it with a tank pad?
  16. he did. but i think that had more to do with him worrying about his piss bag leaking and filling his boots whilst in the bar
  17. my heine gerick over suit is totally waterproof and cost a fiver from the BMF. i use it in downpours to give my water"proof" textiles a sporting chance. fairly sure that most of the oversuits offer similar protection. my alpinestars gloves are prop 97.3% waterproof but came at a premium. i used to use deisel gloves from petrol station over the top of my old gloves, it works. my alpinestars gortex boots are also waterproof. either that or you can always wrap your spare clean underwear in a bin bag like everyone else
  18. TC. i would hazard a guess that heading even further north would put some folks off. tis true that there are some awsome roads further oop the road from derbyshire but if the location is kept fairly central in or around the matlock area then there is no reason why the rideout couldnt be extended further north to include them. via snake pass of course heading further south would make for a very central location but the roads are dull as dishwater and too congested to be fun.
  19. good idea rats, the racing inst til monday so i will see if rach fancies cadders after the lakes. never watched bsb at cadwell, where is the best spectators spot?
  20. is that a freshly ploughed field in the background of the last photo? nice review. a guy in my club has had one (looks the sameanyway) from new and loves it. after 25 years or so of putting up with it he has too. i suppose it is a bit like being married. and dont upset the HOG.. they'll hold a meeting in the village hall and start a petition or somehting.

  24. i presume that over the next few years that you intend to spend more time riding than jumping from planes? so maybe the rider training might be of more use..
