  1. we should only have two teams, chicks against dudes. then as the girls will have won second prize, thay can call themselves "winners" too.
  2. so you came on the forum before going to the hosptial?? thats dedication lol. always look for the positives arrising from a negative Benn, with shorter fingers, your cock will look bigger when you hold it.
  3. Notts to ullapool and everywhere between. applecross, hartside etc etc. . 1600 in 4days.
  4. I have a whisper kit on my xr1100, it does help a lot but still use ear plugs. I use Moldex pocket pak ones. Couple if quid for two pairs. I have really narrow ear canals and I have found these the best for comfort and fit.
  5. You're a weekend too early for me.
  6. if life saver looks dont work for you then there is nothing wrong with using your mirrors. i dont have a lot ov flexibility in my back and cant rotate to look over my shoulder, so i use a lot of mirror observations instead. and the lifesaver is really just to see whats next to me, not behind. i find sports bikes are a nightmare for lifesavers as your leant forward which further impedes my rotation. for the test, as long as it looks like your using lifesavers then i would say you'll be ok. see what your instructer reccomends as i am sure your not alone.

    Wrist?

    cracking website that chris, cheers.
  8. he blamed rossi for it
  9. it was nerveracking watching marquez stalk a slowing pedrosa, especially as theyre both on my team. however, i would have the same disaterous weekend as techno if i hadnt have benched rossi and opted for pedrosa. another good result for Sue though.
  10. the fast group had a hoot as well, with stu as the rear guard
  11. i doubt any of them would whistle.. i guess it would be more like the "owl" sound you get from cupping your hands and blowing into them. or if they've got some miles on them, maybe a vuvuzela.
  12. give Fowlers motorcycles in bristol a call. they are mail order specialists in obscure parts including bolts etc.
  13. how a bout your shortest joke? this one comes courtesy of Jimmy Carr and is two words in length.. "vennison's dear". so it qualifies for both the shortest and worst joke too.

    Wrist?

make sure your clutch lever is at the right angle to suit you. some bikes have levers that are way too horizontal and cause pain as it forces your wristback too far. try loosening the allen bolts and positioning the lever at an angle that you find comfy. ensure thats its tightened up when done and that it doesnt foul anything like the tank or fairing. go ride and test it. there are other causes for wrist pain when riding but are less likely than sore muscle or incorrect lever angle. carpel tunnel syndrome is one; if you are one of the unlucky ones who is likely to suffer from this anyway, biking can bring it on much much sooner. the operation to remedy it is not nice.
  15. in the process of doing this to my R1. 4xLED indicators costs £16 and a relay was £12. you can buy LED indicators with resistors already fitted but i chose to place my trust in a relay rather than a 2p resistor. personal choice.
  16. changes done. rossi benched, pedrosa on.
  17. didnt know that was your son, I thought you were cheating and registered two teams!! Nope. He knows his own mind and chose his own team. And he missed the first few races too so is playing catchup.. Do you want him to give you a few tips However I would like to claim that Rach's team is mine. But alas. It's hers and I'm being beaten by her.
  18. You picked the team tiggie lol.. And your being beaten by My 11yr old son. Mason And check out Rach.
  19. To take you there? Its not a prom. Just set your satnav for the 1950's and point your bike towards derbyshire. Simples.
  20. Hi viz also is completely pointless at night. You need reflective material for that.
  21. There's lots of data to support the hi vis cures cancer point of view and equally just as much research to invalidate it. Its been discussed on here lots and lots. I fall decidedly on the side of the "there's no valid proof it works so I won't wear it" side of the fence. It would have to completely remove 100% chance of accident before I considered using it. And if it were ever to achieve a legally compulsory status then I'd either wear the absolute bare minimum or if they insisted on head to toe, sell my bike and move abroad. You could dress like Mr bobby and still get knocked off. If other drivers don't see you because they weren't looking then it makes f**k all difference what you had on. I'm all for independent thought and an individual's right to wear what they choose but the increase in the amount of riders who willingly cover themselves in bright green shit concerns me. A lot. The government and eu tosspots will find it much easier to introduce a compulsory hi viz law if the majority of riders are already wearing it. Its at that point that MY right to wear what I want is taken from me.
  22. In the pre race interview Lorenzo said he likes the last corner because you can lunge up the inside force your way through to win. It then showed a clip of him doing just that. Karma can be a bitch.
  23. Now that's something you don't hear too often, infact I think it's a first lol. theyre better than the dull dull dull commentry that ruins Eurosport's gp coverage. its like listening to a flat cap wearing old duffer talking about what type of grease to use on his MG Midget's wishbone and that in 1972 the type of washers changed to mild steel zzzzzz.... if only jack and jamie could cover the moto gp as well as wsb and bsb.
  24. is the rear brake lever position not adjustable? if it is, try adjusting it so that it is less horizontal. you may find that it will move out of the way a few mm and you find a position which is more suited to your prefered foot position. dont move it too far though, you dont want to run the risk of it having ground clearance issues on corners etc. i have size 12 boots and restricted ankle movement so i often have to fine tune foot lever positions to suit me. as with every aspect of bike maintenance/modification. if you dont know what you're doing, seek supervision/guidance.
