  1. Agree it say's not D.O.T approved, there's not many aftermarket accessories that are! This includes aftermarket exhaust system, tinted visors the list go's on and on!! Use your common sense if you have any?! That should keep you safe and inside the boundaries of the law.
  2. Hi, probably worn contacts in the handlebar switch from what l can gather. The flasher unit is common to both side of the bike so if it is working on one side of the bike and not the other, it will be either the switch, the wiring or one of the lamps that's at fault.
  3. These look like there worth a try.The beauty of these lights is that there on in an instant, variable brightness and draw little current so loading up of the bikes electric's. As Stu say HID's requires a special lamp holder - reflector or they dazzle and become illegal http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cree-Motorcycle ... cle+lights
  4. Hi, from an electrical point of view if they work and are not blowing fuses l don't think you have an electrical problem a few extra watts will not make that much a difference. You might want to try and fit some quality bulbs. Motorcycles have a tendency to produce a lot of vibration and a indicator stems can amplify the vibration resulting in shaking the element till it breaks. I would fit new quality bulbs and make sure they work, then start the bike up and rev it through the range and see if the indicator stems are vibrating if so you might need to tighten or even slightly relax the mountings to over come the problem, Hope this helps
  5. Get something that bright, would not suggest black as normally if your wearing waterproofs visibility is not good, just make sure your seen! Don't worry to much about the looks they can laugh as much as they want if your warm and dry you will have the last laugh
  6. This stuff below suppose to be brilliant but l have to say after buying tons of gear over the years l have been shown the light by our good Busa friends in the States and now use good old pledge it awesome!! http://www.eplastics.com/Plastic_Polish
  7. Should of done the BMF last weekend Mate they were almost giving them away some only £20.00 new out of the box. Shop hard this time of the season should be some real deals out there but try before you buy.
  8. Always up for a camp and a gathering. As said, all down to dates and work schedules keep us posted.
  9. As it say's, wishing this guy the very best of luck on his travels with a £50.00 bike! http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-new ... 23529.html
  10. Good to hear you had a good weekend, l got some feedback from mates that had book digs and were committed to go, they said very much the same! I see some parts of the country did get a hammering. Did you camp or where you in Digs Cath? Instead we did the BMF on Saturday that was a bit of a disappointment no way as big as previous years though l did get a good deal on some new waterproofs and had a great chat with Dave Hailwood "what a nice bloke" Always after l've missed out l get an attack of the shudders, shudder done this shudder done that! O well, Darley next l hope.
  11. Raining here now so it's looking like a no show "shame!" Techno, l might get the brolly out and stroll the BMF do a bit of a bargain hunt. We running out of day light quickly now, need to make the best of what's left of the summer.
  12. We love the place Stu, bottom half of the circuit is awesome over the jumps + A great night out with a lot of the riders having a drink in the local bars. But the place turns to total shite if the wind and rain comes in
  13. Was all set for a weekend of camping and racing but looks like the weather going to spoil it. Shall we sharn't we go? It's not the best place to go when the weather comes in !! http://uk.weather.yahoo.com/england/nor ... ugh-34158/
  14. Here you go! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TEIN-SUSPENSI ... 4897.l4276
  15. More than likely blow bulbs, they work on the same circuit as the rest of the lighting system. There a bit fiddly to get at, you might have to remove the clocks to get at them.
  16. Nice one well done and saved a few bob in the process
  17. Nice one! Always expect the worse, then a result should be in order.
  18. As above, check the earths and switch, there's got to be a bad connection in there somewhere
  19. Here you go, hope this helps! http://www.chainspeed.co.uk/products/Qu ... F1000.html
  20. No they will be fine
  21. Hi, the standard bulbs will be 21 watt as spec, dow't very much that your miniature lights will be 21 watt and as a consequence you will find that they will not flash at the normal speed if at all! Resistors or an electronic flasher unit might be called for, all ready available on flees bay
  22. More than likely you will have issues if your bike is fitted with standard 21 watt lamps. Check the wattage of the one's you want to fit against the existing one's. Led lights are far brighter than the low wattage one's you want to fit, personally l think the low wattage lights are a bit dodgy particularly in bright day light. Why do you want to change?
  23. Great shame this it was in an idyllic setting on a beautiful village green. Cars and bikes of all ages come together to show off there pride and joy. Once again a few morons have spoilt it for the masses. Typical, the police shut the lot down than sooner single out the wrong doers, why could they have not set up a few cameras and bring them to book rather than shut it down? Shame a real shame
  24. What's the betting that production Honda will see off the factory Ducati, I'll bet Cal is now kicking himself.
  25. BSB Cadwell Park best BSB meet of the year in my opion
