  1. Hi Guys, l mailed them to get some more details. What you get in this package is 2 low beam lights and not one of each be warned. You could split the cost with a mate and do 2 low beam conversions. To be honest you will hardly use your main beam again once this upgrade is in place.

    Headlight

It sounds to me that you have a high resistive connection on your lighting circuit which needs to be sorted sooner rather than later. Could be the switch, a connection check you earths or maybe even section of corroded wire in the loom. With a voltmeter switch the light on and check the voltage across the terminal to the lamp. Should be as near as dam 12volts if not work your way back through the +and - of the circuits until you get the correct voltage. PS l don’t think it will be the lamp as normally they just blow, but by all means check it also check the connectors on the lamp. Hope this helps
  3. That’s an illegal fit mate l'm afraid. You need a projector style lens to be above board. These lamp s are awesomely bright but need to be set right and kept under control, lighting up the trees is not what they need to be doing, a nicking is just around the corner or worse blind someone and coarse an accident. I've tried the same on my Busa the dip beam pattern is no good at all even after adjustment. My Bimota got Projector lights, why o why they are not fitted to all new bikes l do not know they are awesome.
  4. Well that statement just about covers all mods that can be done to a bike
  5. H.I.D lights can only legally be fitted to projector type light units. These units require some work to fit into a conventional reflector headlight unit, but the difference in performance once fitted correctly is well worth it.
  6. Came across these of Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220813957672? ... 1438.l2649 might be of use to someone looking to upgrade.
  7. This might help: http://visitnormandy.wordpress.com/2012 ... s-in-2012/ We went through France on our way to the Belgium F1 with no issues
  8. Hi, it needs to work as well as look right. Give these guys a bell http://www.racetech.com/ They should know if anybody.
  9. Have just fitted a set of pirelli angel tyres to the Busa, carn't fault them at the moment bike feels very planted on wet and dry roads.
  10. Here's the place for the bits hhttp://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Suzuki/GSX ... -96/#CLUTC I would suggest fresh oil, and make sure you a re useing the correct oil, the wrong oil can trash a wet clutch.
  11. l'm afraid that looks like something is breaking up. If l was you l would strip it down, the motor has given you fair warning its not happy.
  12. 5mm x 2mm bits thats serious in my books, magnet should just be catching dust at the most
  13. Fingers crossed for you Mate, that its nothing to serious.

    Seized bolt

Most sprays are flammable it’s the propellant that causes the problem as the fluid is atomised when it’s forced out of the can. As said, no need to get the metal red hot, just use a good penetrating fluid. You always have to be very careful when working with heat.

    Seized bolt

Try heating the metal around the bolt not the bolt itself metal expands when it gets hot. If you heat the bolt the bolts expands gets tighter go's soft and then snaps off. Result a drill out and re thread. An old hand shown me this trick years ago it works. Heat the metal around the seized bolt try to avoid heating the bolt, no need to get metal red hot, and then spray some penetrating oil on the bolt. The capillary action will draw the penetrating fluid into the thread freeing the bolt. Hope this helps
  16. I would go with the rest, 40mpg ish mpg sounds about right its a big upright bike with no fairing so not slippy. A day touring going up and down the box will drop it further than that l would think. What gets my goat is that l have just come back from a touring holiday in Europe camping with the car. The car was loaded to the gunnals with 4 of us and camping gear the 3lt diesel returned 37mpg.

    HT leads?

Try some fresh fuel, you got a spark so no real reason why it should not fire, apart from a glued up carb
  18. Stoner has pulled out of the Bruno gp to go home for surgury
  19. Hi, yes l agree that an electronic flasher unit is a better option, but with so many different types of flasher units available and many Manifacture - model specific l thought that the resistor might be the easier option.
  20. Hi ya, if it’s still making a buzzing noise with a fully charge battery then the fault is at the solenoid or solenoid wiring. Before you jump into buying replacements parts you need to first check that all the cables and connections are all sound. The starter solenoid is basically a heavy duty switch which is required to switch the high current required to spin the starter motor, any loose or dirty connection - joints will cause a high resistance in this circuit causing volt drop, hence the buzzing at the solenoid as it not being fully energised. You really need to get this all check over before you jump into speeding hard earned money on what might be a simple contact - connection clean up. Hope this helps
  21. Hi ya its not a relay you require its a load resistor, have a read on this below hope your soon sorted, its a quick cheap enough fix http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Load-resistor ... 0010344226.
  22. Got to be Spa as i've never seen a F1 race, Cadwell and Scarborough are great meets too. The TT is the place to go to scare yourself shitless and for raw speed just ask Mark Webber lol ">
  23. Bit late on this one, but this little boy might be of help for other travellers. Just need to wire in a fused cig lighter socket to the battery and then stick your phone or under other item under the seat for 1/2 hr Job Done! http://www.prepaymania.co.uk/mobilephon ... black.html Edit: Forget about a solar charger, would take ages to get a phone charged, they are weather dependant and bulky
  24. Hi, we use a starcom system on the bike, the kit came complete with helmet fit phones they were a tight painfull fit for our helmets, we tried all sorts of things to over come the problem. Eventually we brought these below and never looked back! Great sound and comfy, just have to make sure you get a snug fit and well cheap too !! http://www.amazon.co.uk/MEElectronics-S ... 04&sr=1-11. If you need any more info drop me a line

    Track Oil

Just make sure you get an oil thats bike compatable. Some FS oils can cause clutch problems.
