  1. Challenge table - As of 27/12/15 January was the highest scoring opening month I can remember, mostly due to the good weather for the first couple of weeks. February has seen a few changes and a gap open up with a leading pack. That makes a nice change from one person going into the lead and running away with it. March has seen more new scoring, a lot of points being added and we now have more than half of the competitors with points. April, so far go priest!! May and GOG and priest exchange the lead between them with paul-kent closing the gap behind. Whitedevil picks up lots of points and moves into the top three. End of June and priest opens up a lead. CGD217 shows the non scorers what have a lovely days run in the sun can achieve. Whitedevil racks up the points and moves into a clear second. GOG clearly hates looking at himself dropping down to third and puts in a request to have the scores updated as he retains top spot! Rigsville piles on the points and jumps from 10th to 6th. I then do exactly the same. Kickflare joins as the season is ending, will she shame those who have been in from the start and have a Eurovision disgrace score? A new challenge within the challenge is set. GOG announces he is 1370 and out, so will anyone catch up? My aim is to be top ten, as in possibly 10th at the rate I am going. End of October and a few are still out riding. End of November and points are still being scored, this is the longest running tag yet. Despite the storms a few points are being picked up in December, nice one CGD217. Those who have scored keep adding points, the also ran lot in 24th have not changed. Get a move on! Scores (where points are equal, whoever got to that points total first gets the higher place). 1st GOG - 1370 2nd whitedevil - 1010 3rd priest - 950 4th paul-kent - 940 5th CB999 - 560 6th RigsVille - 490 7th Throttled - 430 8th Roxyy - 340 " " A Heavy Sake Jar - 340 10th onesea - 330 11th nikolees - 300 12th Phooey - 270 13th CGD217 - 180 14th Throttled Jnr - 120 15th Bonniebird - 110 " " WonderAve 110 17th Ricky - 80 " " Tango - 80 19th Gixxerkarl - 70 20th Stu - 60 21st Obrien65 - 40 22nd drkbishop - 30 23rd Trotter251 - 10 24th and still to score Fulltilt - 0 Kitty - 0 rogwigi57 - 0 rookie76 - 0 Ian_1986 - 0 Rant Machine - 0 wr6133 - 0 fq-craigus - 0 ste - 0 Mr Fro - 0 XmisterIS - 0 Soll - 0 Littlecat - 0 WonderAve - 0 8692grant - 0 Twidly - 0 Daxter - 0 Both2old4this - 0 OhJay - 0 Azen - 0 Craig 8150 - 0 kickflare - 0
  2. I like your avatar whitedevil. I was so taken by Castell Coch in last years challenge that our family holiday this year is in Wales and we are going to visit it properly. I rarely have enough time to go in and visit the tags on my trips.
  3. Ya boo sucks was a particularly good reason.
  4. A photo of the set up in action would be good. I am waiting for a Kryptonite chain and disc lock. Neither crop proof chain from Almax or Pragmasis will fit through the ground anchor I have. The Kryptonite is on the list of insurer approved and I live in a low crime area.

  6. x2 . This is the most prolific start to a challenge yet. The good weather is getting people out and about. Tomorrow is to be cold, dry and clear up here.
  7. I have ended up with various stick on and magnetic LED battery powered lights. Fine for the occasional use that I do.
  8. Great list GOG, I like the way you have altered the regions and not stuck strictly to borders, so Jedburgh is in with north English tags. I can see me doing the whole of Scotland this time as the very northern tags were a long way for 10 points.
  9. Er, had you gone somewhere?
  10. Don't you mean a day with ice or pouring rain? Thats the days muffs are for.
  11. Do a running commentary as OhJay suggested. This is an extreme example of what a commentary is like, a high speed run in a police car https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... VtQ4NN5_-Q but it gives you an idea of how the driver is always on the look out for hazards and anticipating issues. As you ride up to a corner you would be saying to yourself - that you are approaching a right/left hand bend - there are/are not any warning signs or slow markers for the bend - the view is clear/obscured through the bend - the road surface is good/potholes/dry/wet/oil - there is/is not another vehicle coming the other way and nothing at all about bushes etc on the verge as that does not matter.
  12. I got a t shirt which has a kevlar lining and pockets for body armour. Come on the summer!
  13. Is anyone planning on doing Scotland in 2015?
  14. That is what I was thinking, they can't use that video to help out their pall as it will end up getting one them into bother.
  15. Hopefully that is one of those on line videos that is used to prosecute the riders
  16. I watched some and mostly the accidents were the biker's fault.
  17. Register here viewtopic.php?f=12&t=55353 by choosing a number, put the number on a piece of paper so it can be displayed on your bike when you are stopped. Ride your bike to the tags that are places of interest all over the UK. Photograph your bike with its number and the tag. Get 10 points for each tag completed and bonuses for completing regions. Enjoy riding new roads and seeing new parts of the country.
  18. I had a Punto and it was the most reliable car I have ever owned. It is fun to drive as well.
  19. To those who registered and did not complete any tags, why not do your own area or the pubs? Finding new routes on your own backyard is one of the best things about the challenge.
  20. Fourth to third to second, but I cannot see me being able to make it to the top spot next year due to a relative lack of holidays since our holiday periods have been changed. Top 5 will do.
  21. The helmets I have had have been varying degrees of noisy. I would not say any are quiet. Hence earplugs and the cheap foam ones work for me. I wet them and put them in thick side in to get the best fit.
