    well done to Kitty...theory passed today, mod one training booked for next weekend , and mod 1 test on the Wednesday ...yay

    I looked at those, there are caveats and get outs on the part of the school galore. Also, the fact is, we're all adults here are you'd need to fail 3 tests in order for these schemes to pay out for you. If you have a good instructor and you ride like he tells you to, you should pass first time. btw, the guaranteed pass schemes i looked at were £850 + test fees. the school I did my cbt with offers a guaranteed pass for around £650, which is cheaper than a standard DAS if you fail either module once

    well it seems ive been talked into doing donnington on the 29th with a bunch of club racer mates .....omg! could be mildly amusing...and id really like to keep the bike in one piece this time ....gets kinda expensive otherwise.....now all I have to do is ride less like a 5 year old in the presence of a bunch of people who actually know what theyre doing ....

    waiting to see if im well enough to ride, as im on a double dose of antibiotics and feeling run over at the moment, plus not sure if ohjay will have the bike here this weekend, would be good to see you all again tho

    go to a shop first and try on as many brands as you can, like others have said...you will find some may not fit you at all....so narrow it down to the ones that do , and then research which of those fit your requirements. you may find you have a headshape that only really suits one particular fit , and that will be the one you buy.

    some places do offer guaranteed pass schemes, where they include any extra tuition for resits...not sure if you have to pay the test fees again though

    I just take the car ahh but a lot of the places we go wont even let you through the gate if you turn up in a car

    self inflating mats here too, though I get away with a tiny 3/4 size one which saves on space lol...as for pillows...forget camping ones, we carry proper full size pillows..one each , takes up a whole pannier each , but worth it

    if you want to pillion and camp, why not look at a sport rack , I have a rentek one, and my camping gear all lashes to that , ( leaving me room on the rear seat for a tailpack, but in your case that leaves room for the pillion )

    well I think we left the rally almost last and almost certain we'll have been first home,lol. great weekend guys, really enjoyed seeing everyone and catching up . now in recovery mode in a big way

    awww nooo...no nman...no eab... not gonna be the same. all we need now is GoG not to need new underpants and the whole weekend is ruined

    looks like i will be one of the late arrivals...despite living ten minutes from the rally, as up to now it looks like I have to work all day ...not impressed, especially as I cancelled a days holiday last time things went tits up at work
