  2. That looks amazing!!!! I can understand the issues with turning the barges around, But it must have been a good ride down
  3. Are you trying to get the whole set, like in Happy Families? I am trying to get the ones I want to use before they make it harder (impossible). I wanted to do my HGV one but don't know about that. I may do it anyway

  7. Is that a legal binding thing? They've already supposedly given us everything they hold, which is what the invoice. They say they delete the records after the visit if it's not invoiced...
  8. I don't know who they are. It was a dealership car apparently. I will check the V5!
  9. Hi all, I have issues with a BMW MINI. The vehicle is owned by my partner, she purchased it used at about 2 years old with about 40k miles on it. Since taking ownership she took it into the shop multiple times to be checked as the alignment was well out and the car physically pulled over bumps / lumps in the road and eventually they ended up replacing a wishbone and saying it was fixed. The vehicle went in about 6-7 times over this period and she was told it was her driving style, that "all MINI's drive like that", It's a heavy car (It's Paceman... Hardly an X5!) the fact it has run flats etc etc. We test drove the vehicle side by side another Paceman and the two were night and day different, despite the dealership saying they were not and there was no fault technically with her car or how it drove. This wasn't the case and fast forward nearly 12 months later I ended up taking it to the financial ombudsman who requested an independent examination. This showed that there is a fault with the geometry of the vehicle likely from a side impact at some point. This is great news! However, Due to the time taken to get to this stage they said they cannot guarantee that the vehicle wasn't impacted since taking ownership... The financial ombudsman has decided they will uphold this and they are not able to support me any further. My query is that we cannot remember the dates that the vehicle went into the dealership for work with no fault found. What the dealership said is that if there is no work to be completed then the job is deleted and no record is kept (Which I find hard to believe). I am after a bit of advise here, Am I being fed a line? Should this information be held somewhere, if so how can I get to it? To be so close and yet so far is very very frustrating. Thank you
  10. How close are we talking Hoggs... Drop me a PM if you like

  12. What setup do you have? Can you post a picture? One option could be to use one of the taps which cut into pipes and install underneath the cupboard.
  13. I live a sheltered life. I went out and bought a bike. Then people started saying things like, oh nice, like on the "Long Way Round", and I'm thinking, what way round? And Charlie Boredom - who? If I'd known what I was buying into I'd have stayed well a... hell, I've have bought it just the same. It's a nice bike. I think that explains how I ended up with one too... I have a Kwak and a GS, Do I get a special card?
  14. I have done some further reading on this, I can run the WiFi bridge directly from the battery at 12v. This will need testing but will simplify things hugely at the outset. Chrissb6, I am going to be running a leisure battery, A deep cycle marine unit.
  15. Hello, I am looking for some advise regarding an installation for a remote completely off grid garage installation. This needs to power a couple of 12v LED strip lights for intermittant use. Along with a 12v external light which will be triggered by a PIR. I will also be running a point to point wireless network point to the garage unit, so this will need to be able to power this 24h a day. The power usage is about 30w for this. This will be powered via a cheap inverter as the load is very low. I plan on having a battery minder attached to the setup for continual charging of my motorcycle batteries. I will eventually add a larger inverter to power some additional tools in the garage also. For now I am looking for a cheap (but functional) setup. This is what i've got so far; Sun YOBA LCD Display 60A 12V (Charge Controller) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ADKOMXI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1ZNNW63YABJSD&coliid=I147S0TDQ3AVLG 135AH 12v leisure battery https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00WQ0J92W/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1MI474ZFJ1AC 200watt monocrystaline panel (will add further later) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Photonic-Universe-monocrystalline-batteries-motorhome/dp/B00BE6ARPM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480885605&sr=8-1&keywords=200watt+solar+panel BESTEK 300W Power Inverter DC 12V https://www.amazon.co.uk/BESTEK-Inverter-Converter-Outlet-Charger/dp/B00INW611Y/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1480885655&sr=8-3&keywords=12v+inverter This comes to approx £300 (excluding associated cabling / crimps and so on). I am looking for a bit of input into how this setup looks. I am a complete novice with regards to Solar.
