  1. Hippo bathday
  2. Just back from work, looks like it might hack down in a bit anyway. Also my speedo is broken.
  3. We did that already....... At the 2012 Rally
  4. Definitely gerbil related then. Sneaky little b@ggers
  5. Vibrations? Is the exhaust well attached on the hangers? - could be a metal on metal thing if something is loose
  6. I had a great time! Definitely up for the Double Trouble again next year, hopefully with Tango I've just about recovered from the 350 mile round trip, the small tent, headbanging to ACDC and the scramble net/slide At least I didn't do hungry hippos!!
  7. Don't think I'm going to get back in time - Still in Northampton. Also Travis Perkins have dumped a load of garden walling bricks and cement on my drive. I could possibly back out really carefully but that and all the gravel at Conington sounds like a recipe for disaster.
  8. Back home. Not a bad run apart from the expected traffic between KL and Hunstanton on a sunny Sunday. Will put some pics up later
  9. It's green and has bug eyes
  10. This is my version Has smoked lenses, laminar lip, renthal bar conversion, bar-end mirrors and a carbon exhaust
  11. There's a pair on fleabay at the moment but they want £50 each for them http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-Triumph-speed-four-600-n-s-engine-fairing-/252369839403?hash=item3ac26a252b:g:GD4AAOSw1DtXIOTn" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-Triumph-speed-four-600-O-S-engine-fairing-/252369834649?hash=item3ac26a1299:g:BCwAAOSwMVFXIONC" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  12. We don't tend to bother with the Marina because there hasn't been many bikes the few times we've been and it isn't a long enough run for me and Tango
  13. The down pipes are stainless so should come up nicely with a bit (lot) of elbow grease. Mine looked like that when I got it and now they are shiny. I ditched the clip-ons and put flat renthals on mine but that's a personal preference thing. Watch out for leaky fuel attachments on the tank if you need to remove it. Originals are plastic and they go brittle over time
  14. Tango will be away on training in the States then so I was thinking of a longish tag run that weekend. I thought this could be a destination but my route to WSM looks like this for tags.... Could still be tempted if there are some people going or I will be aloooooone
  15. Yeah, the scoff is really good there and they have guy martin's wall of death Indian there at the moment
  16. Liked the group tag. How about seeing who can get the largest group of TMBFers in one tag by the end of the year?
  17. Back home safely via a circuitous route It was great to meet up with everyone. Thanks to Glorian for organising it
  18. Any suggestions/recommendations on where to buy them? I'll get them today with the rest of my order when I get back from this ride-out. I can't remember where I got them from but this is the connector http://www.tom-parker.co.uk/products_subgroups.php?products_categories=6&level2=170&products_groups=1127&products_subgroups=1721" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It may well have already been replaced on your bike if you are lucky. Garages may have these anyway they are not a bike specific part
  19. Yep, bike mot'd so all set for tomorrow. Will head for the pub
  20. If the fuel connectors haven't already been upgraded to metal then this is a mod well worth doing
  21. It is under the tank on the left, behind the frame, if I remember right. Probably a tank off job to get at them. Be very careful with the fuel connectors at the bottom of the tank. If it's like the S4 the originals are plastic and they go brittle over time. Mine are now replaced with metal ones.
