Mine was about 7 hours on the road then mod 1 and 2 on the dame day. I travelled about 60 miles for mine and think not knowing the roads helps as you find yourself paying more attention to road markings and signage.

It was May last year. In Peterborough with wheels motorcycle training.

I paid £550 for my das which covered everything except my theory test ans cbt. It was a intensive 5 day course but I managed to pass both my mod 1 and mod 2 on the 4th day. I would say das is the way forward if what you want is a big bike.

Shorter doesn't always mean louder in my limited experience. My r6 came with a stubby gytr can on it and it sounded very quiet. I went for the big bore gp replica and that sounds much better. Paul from a16 is very helpful if you give him a call I'm sure he'll be able to offer some advice.

I can also recommend a16 both me and the better half have got exhausts from them very reasonably priced and sound great. Plus fantastic customer service

Was thinking of going to Donnington on sunday, however have just looked at ticket prices and £50 for the day seems way too much money to me. We went to Silverstone last year and I don't remember it being that expensive even with a paddock pass each.

I've just had a new one for my R6 from A16 road and race (can't remember their website but they come up on google). Build quality is excellent and makes a nice sound just as good as some of the top makes at a fraction of the cost.

What if you don't wear textiles nor enjoy riding a naked in the rain? I'll ride in all temps & all conditions but rain depresses me, no fun in it at all.. Lee, you've not lived till you've ridden naked in the rain. I often rode naked in the rain and found it surprisingly enjoyable, but at times a little chilly. Now I have a fully faired sports bike & leathers and I will continue to ride in the rain. I refuse to let what is typically British weather dictate when I ride my bike. You could always buy an over suit

Just to confirm unless some serious disagreement occurs between now and the rally myself and UK190 will be sharing a tent. (preferably on a flatter bit of ground than last year, he's a bit heavy to be on top of me all night)

If I'm not in Scotland I will be there. I would think that Martin will make it with or without me.
