  1. Shorter doesn't always mean louder in my limited experience. My r6 came with a stubby gytr can on it and it sounded very quiet. I went for the big bore gp replica and that sounds much better. Paul from a16 is very helpful if you give him a call I'm sure he'll be able to offer some advice.
  2. I can also recommend a16 both me and the better half have got exhausts from them very reasonably priced and sound great. Plus fantastic customer service
  3. Count me and martin in for route one. That is if my bike is fixed by then
  4. Yep each!!! Plus god knows how much for the kids seeing as the website didn't show kids prices. We shall be watching it on the tv me thinks
  5. Was thinking of going to Donnington on sunday, however have just looked at ticket prices and £50 for the day seems way too much money to me. We went to Silverstone last year and I don't remember it being that expensive even with a paddock pass each.
  6. Me and Martin should be there on the Monday
  7. I've just had a new one for my R6 from A16 road and race (can't remember their website but they come up on google). Build quality is excellent and makes a nice sound just as good as some of the top makes at a fraction of the cost.
  8. Happy birthday paul hope you have a great day x
  9. What if you don't wear textiles nor enjoy riding a naked in the rain? I'll ride in all temps & all conditions but rain depresses me, no fun in it at all.. Lee, you've not lived till you've ridden naked in the rain. I often rode naked in the rain and found it surprisingly enjoyable, but at times a little chilly. Now I have a fully faired sports bike & leathers and I will continue to ride in the rain. I refuse to let what is typically British weather dictate when I ride my bike. You could always buy an over suit
  10. We were home about 10 minutes after we left Rutland. Nice to see you all today. Those who were put off by the weather man up and get on with it or you'll find it's winter by the time you get out
  11. I'm only 9 miles from you 5hrs??? WTF don't know which route your planning on taking but I'll get there in less than an hour!! All joking aside your welcome to ride over with us if you want, you can't share our tent tho.
  12. Count me and Martin in fantastic weekend last year despite the wind and rain. The ride up there over the Yorkshire moors was amazing as was the Sat rideout. Truly can't wait for this one, see you all there. TC GarethNW Trish + 1 Littlecat Rebel Rach UK190
  13. Just to confirm unless some serious disagreement occurs between now and the rally myself and UK190 will be sharing a tent. (preferably on a flatter bit of ground than last year, he's a bit heavy to be on top of me all night)
  14. If I'm not in Scotland I will be there. I would think that Martin will make it with or without me.
  15. Count me in def for the Sat night not sure about the Fri as it will depend on getting back from sunny Scotland. Have put Martin down as a possible for now. Stu and Tracey Susieque and Rennie Techno and significant other TC Yorbandit mojobanana Littlecat Donnie Brasco nman1 Rebel Rach UK190???
  16. The company are paying me a set rate to live away from home and I will be away every week Mon - Fri. In order to make taking the job work for me I have to live as cheaply as possible. Staying in hotels is not an option as by the time I have paid to eat out all the time I will be out of pocket. I will be looking at renting a room as an option but until I get there and establish which of the site offices I will be working from then there is no point in looking at that (the job is 220km long). Thanks for the response Rats, I'm trying to work out the best way of getting the bike up there so I can take advantage of nice twisty roads. Lee there is nothing I can say in response.
  17. Help needed. I have a new job and will be based Mon-Fri near the Perth area of Scotland. Is there anyone on here would like a little extra cash in your pocket and could help me out with a room for a couple of weeks until I get a better idea of where I will actually be working. All I know for now is that I'm starting at the main project office which is in Perth.
  18. The offence she was previously prosecuted for was related to overtaking however in my opinion this is where similarity ends. How many times have you cursed the solid white lines and been tempted to overtake as you can see the road is clear. The offence she was previously prosecuted for would have carried the same penalty as for speeding and I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of people who have had a speeding ticket will at some point in their driving lives exceed the speed limit. Yes I agree her prison term seems quite low. However she has to live with the fact that her reckless actions caused the death of another human being. After attending a number of fatal road collisions in my time I can guarantee you that even when you are there to help, the images you are faced with will never leave your head. I can't imagine the guilt she must feel for being responsibility for his death, most people who intend to kill people have prepared themselves for this beforehand and won't suffer the mental effects.
  19. We were driving back from Kent after collecting a car with Martin. The A14 was closed northbound so we were diverted through the town. Didn't think my eyes were playing tricks on me but couldn't check with Martin seeing as he was 2 or 3 cars in front of me. My riding skills are going to be very rusty I haven't been out since the Rutland meet mid October!!! Hopefully I'll get out in the next couple of weeks but I'm already starting to get a bit of a mental block about riding.
  20. Saw you guys riding through Huntingdon near to the hand car wash place. Hope you had a nice rideout.
  21. Happy Birthday Devs. Does this mean your old enough to drink now?
