Last night, on the way back from squash in the cage at about 10:30.......on a single carriageway NSL road I came to a roundabout with a 30 limit and I went straight across, but I noticed a car came right up behind me, swinging from side to side......We exited the roundabout and the road went back to NSL, so I accelerated to that (ish) but matey was still on my tail.....He couldn't overtake because of oncoming traffic......A bit further up the road the oncoming traffic disappeared, so matey overtook very close and then sang in front of me, so I flashed him......so he brake tested me.....so I flashed him again.....and he brake tested me again. An old fella in an old Merc estate. Further up the road he overtook another car and a van into oncoming traffic......Both flashed him, but he carried on. I was half expecting to see him in a field, or worse, further up the road, as it gets a bit twisty. Driving like that it's only a matter of time before he kills himself or someone else. The unfortunate thing was that I didn't have my dash cam in the car.....

Nice one mate......... Yeah, progress at your own pace, never feel pressured into doing anything until you feel ready......build it up nice and slowly....... I would recommend you get yourself on a BikeSafe course with the police if they do them near you.......they'll give you plenty of good advice......

My nomination is: the people that think it's appropriate to post jokes in the comments for an article on FB about the Grenfell Tower tragedy!......... let's douse you in petrol and set fire to you and see how f*ckin funny you find that!

Spin the motor over and pull the spark plug and see if it's wet.......If it is, then the problem is probably the spark.....If it's dry, then the problem is likely to be carb/injection......

Bad luck mate.......you'll nail it next time....... I didn't have any problems with the MOD1. ........mainly because it was introduced about 30 years after I took my bike test....

Yes.....We noticed!......

Probably float stuck in the carb from laying the bike down.......or some sh*t from the fuel tank got disturbed and is blocking the fuel line or one of the jets in the carb......

It was pretty fun most of the time Fro.......The only time it became difficult was with a certain ex member, whose ramblings I really couldn't make head nor tail of...... PS......why can't I get the red @ thingy to work?.....

Cheers Mark......It can be a bit of a juggling act sometimes, keeping things civil but not stifling the forum......but I always found it pretty easy because of the members on here, who more or less moderate themselves. Yep, I've been in some biker groups that were just unpleasant.......Funnily enough I was removed from a biker FB group just recently for calling someone an idiot, after he posted an extremely offensive racist meme..... seemed that in that group racism was acceptable, but calling someone out on it wasn't. .....no loss as far as I'm concerned..... Yeah.......Our political positions may vary.......but there's one thing I think we can all agree on - things would be REALLY sh*t if we didn't have our bikes..... Keep up the good work chaps......
