  1. Unfortunately not me this week, mate.......taking my lads out for dinner as it's the youngests 21st birthday.
  2. Sounds like the carb could do with a strip and clean.........also drain the fuel tank, if there's a load of water sitting in the bottom of the tank it won't like it......and put fresh fuel in when you refill it.......
  3. This is the sort of thing I'd go for.......The porch area is good for putting your wet bike gear if you get caught out......nothing worse than sharing the sleeping compartment with wet bike gear..... http://www.vango.co.uk/gb/tents/1158-pulsar-200.html shop around to get it cheaper.....
  4. Probably need some more details on your requirements.......but what about this...http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/airgo-stratus-400-tent-p396453.
  5. "She wasn't looking"!........oh, that's OK then.....bit busy with her phone?.......boils my p*ss when people come out with lame excuses like this! No real harm done to you or the bike luckily......but it could have been a lot different.......
  6. Welcome to TMBF mate. ......pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys when you can. ...... Have you checked your tyre pressures?.......
  7. Congrats fella......good luck with the MOD2. ......
  8. Bit of camchain noise?
  9. I'm not sure, Stu......I've not tried it for a while......maybe I'll have a tinker when I have 5......
  10. CoPilot used to have a feature that allowed you to drag the route to where you wanted it to go through.....but the latest version has dropped that, which is really annoying.....
  11. Good turnout tonight....... didn't see any of the gang though.....
  12. I could share my saucerful of secrets but they're on the dark side of the moon. Ummagumma.......
  13. I did the course in Hertfordshire a couple of years back. .......definitely recommend it to everyone.......
  14. That remind me I need to replace the stock horn on my bike for something a little more manly [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Mine could do with the same, sounds like roadrunner with asthma. The SoundBomb I fitted to my bike certainly wakes people up.......
  15. I guess I'll have to pay it a visit then.......
  16. If it's been stood for 5 years I think you'll need to remove the clutch plates and unstick them......
  17. That'll be Grumpy Old Git then.......
  18. The guy on the MT-07 on Finchley Road in London earlier this afternoon. He came up the bus lane to one of the sets of lights and I was in the cage in the lane next to the bus lane. The lights were red so he stopped behind 2 cars that had moved left to turn. When the lights changed I carried on in the middle lane, but there were cars and vans parked in the bus lane. I checked my mirrors and he had dropped in behind me shaking his head. We stopped at the next lights and he came up alongside my drivers door looking in at me still shaking his head. So I wound the window down and he started going on about I should have indicated! What? It wasn't me that changed lanes.....why would I indicate? He started to lecture me, so I just wound the window up before I was tempted to swear at him. London bikers!.....
  19. Aha......yep, bend the lever out a bit......I'd be surprised if you manage to snap it off......just be gentle and bend a little at a time until it's clear......
  20. Edited it as URL's seem to work better without the bracketed thingies......very technical..... I'm really fussy about gloves.....so my Triumph Explorer winter gloves and my Held summer gloves are my favourites........you may find winter gloves are too much during the summer......
  21. Adam?........don't you mean Alan?........ ABBA stand will last a lifetime if not abused.....and, as JRH says, you can just buy different adapters when you change bikes...... As Arwen and Hoggs say, buy a decent chain and sprocket set......and possibly a Scottoiler too, as I suspect your current chains premature demise was probably due to lack of maintenance before you got the bike...... A cheap angle grinder makes a good chain splitter..... See if Halfords have any deals on for their pro socket sets at the moment......they're good kit..... Changing the chain and sprockets is not a difficult job to do.......and we're here for advice if you need it......
  22. Welcome to TMBF mate. ........ Congrats on the CBT. .....and best of luck for the DAS. .....keep us posted on your progress. .....
