Hi Mate Drop into the newbie section and introduce yourself!! Firstly, you have the right attitude towards a helmet. Fit is the most important thing. Not only for comfort, but for safety as well. Make sure they are comfy, provide protection and you can easily move your fingers around. I would get some boot. TCX, Alpinestar, and SIDI are 3 names, but google "Motorbike Boots" and you will find load more brands. You can wear jeans if you want, but if you can get some proper motorbike trousers then do. If you slide down the road in jeans they will stop your skin getting burned for about half a second... After that you are wearing through skin.

Yeah, I wear leathers all summer. It ain't too bad. Once you are moving it's ok. When you stop off somewhere, get your jacket off and you won't suffer too bad. Leg's get a bit warm, but not too bad. Saying that I am looking at getting some Alpinestar textiles this year....

There is just something about Rossi when he rides that makes it all look effortless... Like he is never really trying, but easily succeeding... Stoner seems to be on the edge of his talent all the time. Their is no doubting Stoner is an awesome rider, but he will always be in Rossi's shadow.
