Can I recommend you spend a bit more mate, and buy her trousers..... If you have an off and she slides down the road she is gonna have permanent scaring without proper trousers... I am sure that's something neither you nor her want.... And spend a bit more on a helmet.... I would recommend a minimum of £100 on one. Look at Akito Clothing for Boot's, Gloves, Jackets and Trousers. They are fairly cheap and seem pretty good quality. I know TimR wears Akito and he seems to have no problems with them. I know I am recommending you spend more than you want, but it will be worth it in an accident, and probably better on your Wallet in the long run.

That's the big problem with Donnington... Although the actual track and facilities are probably ready for a revamp, it's the roads to and from where the problem lies.... With any luck they will look at this and get it sorted.

Sounds Intelligent to me... Personally I clean and lube mine straight after every ride, with a major clean about once a month.

Book for 2011 mate.... You will be very very very lucky to get somewhere this year, and lucky to get something for next year as well!!

Never thought of that.... Still think I will get a set though, as I need some with built in headphones.... Have to say though, that if you don't need headphones then disposable ones used correctly are just brilliant!!

Could be the reason...... As you say, they ain't exactly front runners..... As you say they are not the top flight in the MotoGP league, so with the worlds financial situation being like it is they might see it as an excuse more than anything.... Arn't BMW meant to be moving into this anyway, or am I thinking of some other competition? Surely they will make the numbers up...

Just gonna shift this into the Clothing section for you mate!! I would leave it mate.. You can be a better helmet than that for the money which will last you longer....

I would not have it mate.... If it has scratches on the surface who knows what damage it may have on the underneath. Plus even without sunlight it may deteriote slightly. You might also want to check if the helmet can be sprayed... Not all of them can!! And most importantly make sure it fits!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is, if the weather is ok then have a Christmas Day ride!!!!! Virtually empty roads and the cars I did see had happy polite drivers who moved over ASAP.... Great ride!! Anyhoo thanks to PPF and TimR for getting themselves across and a BIG THANKYOU to the Willow, Akey, and their kids for putting up with us for a couple of hours and stuffing us full of coffee, mince pies, biscuits and chocolate!!!! I have to say that Willow and Akey's kids were incredibly relaxed and well mannered for Christmas morning..... Willow on the other hand....

Everything is looking good weather wise. No rain from no until Christmas day, and temperatures are not set to drop below about 6 degrees at most. No salt on roads, no wet roads, very little traffic, a low level of policing and not too cold. Sounds like the perfect recipe to me!!! If you are coming just remember that their won't be many petrol stations open on Christmas Day. Fill up sometime in the next couple of days!!
