  1. There's still chance to enter to win for the other rounds this season http://www.bewiser.co.uk/vip" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  2. This Sunday there is a free Easter activity day at Silverstone, the poster for it says they will be selling BSB tickets buy a one get one free. (Top left on 2nd page) http://assets.silverstone.co.uk/media/filer_public/3c/e2/3ce25e19-09be-45ef-9132-86a1ba595cd9/v5160318-easter_open-day-lowres.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  3. Thanks mate, I will make sure I get plenty of photos to share on here [emoji3]
  4. I have just received an email from Be Wiser to say I have won a competition I entered for VIP tickets to the BSB round in a couple of weekends with a chance to meet the Be Wiser Ducati team and riders. I can't wait, I am so excited [emoji1] [emoji1]
  5. Yeah I had a Varadero and the physical size of it made going to a larger cc bike easier in my opinion
  6. I was just reading about the WD40 Superbike team having their bikes stolen. It says worth £200,000 but that was 2 x Superbikes and 1x Supersport bike
  7. They now sound like Vauxhall Corsas racing
  8. I watch F1 now and again and have seen a Renault go around Silverstone a few years back at a BSB meeting. I think I might go because it's cheap and I am not a serious enough fan to pay the £100s on race weekend and the £17+ parking fee [emoji857][emoji857][emoji857]
  9. For any F1 fans out there thank think the GP tickets are by far overpriced but would like to see the cars going around Silverstone there is a 2 day test a few days after the British GP. Tickets are only £10 and an extra £10 for a pit walk. Only risk is if the weather is bad they probably won't go out on circuit but at the price worth the risk http://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/2016-f1-team-test/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  10. I had one. Goes through batteries quick and the mrs went mad about it ringing all the time, kept turning it off when I wasn't looking! And mine was just in the garage, not actually outside. To be honest I've been a bit disappointed with the cheap aldi electrics, it is just cheap crap...not a good deal on something expensive. Best things from aldi are the base layers (the work wear ones are identical to the bike ones so don't need to wait for bike season) and a windproof golfing t shirt thing. Amazing under leathers/textiles at keeping me warmer. Thanks mate, I might look elsewhere then [emoji2]
  11. Yeah this was in the news last week.... "looking for a superbike that's capable of making you look full-factory, your search could well be cover because BMW has just launched a UK-only limited edition Tyco BMW replica S1000RR, which is says it the highest-specced S1000RR on sale in the UK. BMW has made just 75 of the bikes, which are available now from BMW dealers priced at £21,240. As well as the exact replica paint job, each S1000RR is loaded with a BMW factory performance parts including dynamic damping control (active suspension) and dynamic traction control, forged wheels, an Akrapovic silencer, HP4 adjustable rearsets, LED indicators, heated grips, Gear Shift Assist Pro system, plus an alarm and paddock stands, floor mat and indoor bike cover."
  12. Wow.. What a deal, nice looking bike
  13. Good quality sometimes not in English but still watchable http://www.totalsportek.com/motogp-live-stream/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  14. Just watching the start of the programme and see the F1 car beat the Tyco BMW in a drag race. Surely it's not a fair comparison and a MotoGP bike would be a bit fairer?
  15. Sorry I haven't been on here for a while but it's been a hectic winter. My Mrs hadn't worked for 13 years since she was pregnant with our son and both of our kids were now old enough that she was getting bored at home so decided to get a job. I know this makes me sound a chauvinist pig but when she didn't have a job she did everything around the house so its taken a while to get into a new routine and doing my fair share. The extra money meant I we could get a 2nd car for me to use because up until now she would have the car and I would have my bike and use the bus to get to work in the winter. I remember getting off the bike in the garage in November dripping wet and cold and saying to the Mrs I am getting too old for this sh*t and I didnt like the idea of yet another year stood in the freezing cold waiting for a late bus and the sitting next to someone who would be coughing and sneezing the whole journey I have decided the car is much easier to use daily and I was toying with the idea of selling the bike. On Friday I was working form home and decided to get the bike out for tte first time this year and go for a quick 30 mile ride. I have definitely changed my mind and the bike is going no where. Its going to stay for weekend rides and hopefully get out more with the Mrs as pillion when we can get either set of Grandparents to babysit for a few hours of a weekend, I think I will enjoy it more this ways as well instead of it being a daily work horse. Anyway enough of me waffling on.............it's good to be back
  16. Thanks mate. Sorry I haven't been on here for a few months, it's been a hectic winter.
  17. I think it was Jamie Whitham who said on the ITV show that the Honda is the slowest bike on outright speed but it's the best balanced and overall package
  18. I'm tempted to change but I think I might stay with what I have until the next transfer window.
  19. Anyone going to MCN Live at Skegness Butlins this weekend? They are also doing day entry for £15 into Butlins for people who arent stopping the weekend http://www.mcnlive.co.uk/
  20. I received an email today from www.ticketfactory.com they are selling tickets and there's more options including 2 adults camping
  21. Great. I will give Google maps a go, thanks for your help
  22. Thanks So Google plays the directions through headphones?
  23. Hello I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a free Sat Nav app for my mobile phone. I am planning on mounting my phone to the bike bars and then listening to directions through earphones, ideally it would also be one where you can download the maps so it works still in weak signal areas. Cheers
