  1. I did the CBT then bought a 125. Rode it for half a year then did the theory. Then booked a lesson and did mod 1. Did one more lesson and then mod 2. I reckon I spent about £170 on CBT and lessons and about £120 on the tests! The mod 2 was £75 I think.
  2. I thought it was a pub. I should pay more attention.
  3. Lings have been good. I've used Felixstowe Motorcycle and Auto once since moving here from Ipswich and they did a sterling job.
  4. That's not very civil.
  5. Sounds like bad luck. Keep trying. I don't know Glasgow, but general advice would be to try to get to know the area the test will take place especially where stop signs and 20mph roads are. If you're comfortable with the lay of the land that's one less hassle on the test.
  6. But you must admit the urban improvements they've made in the city centre are impressive.
  7. It looks good on my phone. Nice film too.
  8. It's true we're in a rainy drought! If it's raining when I go to work it'll generally be dry by the time I get to Ipswich. I don't know why but the weather down the road has been different to here for the last couple of weeks.
  9. I don't know whether it's a queen wasp or a hornet, but it has driven me out of the living room. I'm allergic to wasp stings, so encountering one about 5cm long is not exactly on my top 1000 list of things to do. I've bug sprayed the room and am waiting the minimum 10 minutes the can recomends to wait. If this is the shape of things to come this Summer, can anyone recommend a good bug repellent? Spiders are good, but the GLW doesn't like them.
  10. Nice thread. I wish I had read it before I bought my first bike.... may have gone for the Varadero rather than the CBF, especially as my commute is 20 miles per day.
