  1. I've done exactly that, last summer, with no apparent ill effects. I took my time accurately measuring the position for the hole, and used the smallest drill bit I had, but eventually was more than pleased with the result
  2. Dazbo666

    M&P direct

I've bought from Wemoto online a number of times, with excellent prices and fast delivery etc Also bought from M&P online and in person at their Swansea showroom. Faultless service from both, on countless occasions over the years
  3. My O/H and two step-daughters set up the artificial tree (with no decorations) aroud the 20th Nov... apparently "to check that everything was there, and there's no branches missing". wtf The rest of the decs were then fitted in the following week, and our front room is now described as "fully crimbo'd up"
  4. Have a certain amount of carpeting in our garage too. as you mentioned, it helps when sitting or laying on the floor, and in my case, helps to reduce the amount of scuffing or chipping of the concrete floor when parking the bike on the side stand, or centre stand.
  5. For me, it'll be another night shift tonight, finishing 7am Saturday. Then a few hours in bed, before fitting new DID chain and sprockets to the Bandit
  6. I've used Oxford Rainex (or similar) in the past, and found it to be very effective (as long as you can secure it against the wind lifting it). However we've since moved house, and the bike "cover" at the new house is made of brick... we like to call it a garage lol
  7. A full fitted kitchen Patio doors Concrete, tiled and carpeted floorings Timber flooring in the loft A DIY greenhouse (from raw materials and my own design, not from a pre-fab kit) Electrical rewiring a house A garage renovation .... and helped strip and custom paint an Austin Allegro years ago
