There are some good guides on YouTube and loads of help on here. Was very apprehensive when I first did mine because I'd never done it and had nobody ever show or teach me. After you do it a few times though its a doodle

So whats the plan for the project then? Which direction is he taking it?

I was looking at these but decided against a chain oiler as i only ride for fun but i think may just have to get one as ive heard good reviews. Spicy110 on Youtube has done a review or two of this product and he seems happy.

Ill agree the Hyosung looks better than a CBR, although the newer ones are much nicer. However if it was me i would save up and get an R125 out of the two you listed the CBR gets my vote.

I dont think so, you should have provisional entitlement on you licence, I did anyway and I passed my car test in 2010, just double check though.

When i first got my ghost the app was completely useless it just wouldn't display the live feed like i think it is suppose to. Haven't used it since. The Camera however is awesome and i don't go out without it.

British Motorcycle Federation I think, or foundation. Either way they have a show is Peterborough in May I think and then later in the year. Last year I think they had one in Kelso too. Google BMF show I went for the first time last year and it was basically just loads of shopping stools with a lot selling the same thing for the same price. Did find a few bargains too, will probably return this year too as I'm wanting a new lid and leather jacket. There were a few club stands and bikes and there were moped races and a stunt show so wasn't too bad but have seen people say it is not as good as it used to be.
