Not seen a steering lock there on a bike before, it's normally with the ignition switch.

Put the key in the ignition, push it down (into the barrel) and then turn it to the left.

That looks a similar design to the one on my DRZ which also refused to lock (but it was sticking) although that was on the other side. Try spraying some WD-40 on the key/in the lock, wait a few mins for it to penetrate (chuckle, chuckle) and try again, just in case it's that.

I'd be surprised if you had to turn the bars to the right to lock it though, most of them are to the left to lock.

CG125 had a lock there too ..... Your clocks have been changed on that bike if i remember rightly ?

Sounds like they may have replaced the ignition lock at the same time ... so the steering lock will be a different key (one you wont have any more ....) so its non existant ..

Buy a disk lock mate and/or a chain :D

Intruder 125 was there. It was a nightmare and had to get it spot on to get the key to turn. Use to have to wiggle the bars and force the key till the bars were obviously in the correct position then the key would just turn.

Spray some WD40 down there, see how that goes. There's a knack!
