Well, tried my mod 1 today in Swansea, failed un-fortunately, to slow on the swerve, my highest recorded was 49 kph, gutted. I was quite nervous with the other manouvers, but i came through them no problems. The only part i was relaxed, was the one that let me down lol. Still, onwards and upwards, got another test for the 23rd of August, so fingers crossed. Looking back, one thing i'd recomend now on my experience, use the curve to build your speed up!! (unlike me  )

We're moving over to metric so everything is in KPH now.

50KPH is around 32mph. 3rd gear on a 125, 2nd gear on a 500.

on 500cc its a piece a cake, I used to put it in 2nd gear at the beginning of the arc and then just slightly rolled throttle on when I was on the straight line. Can't even imagine doing it on my 125... Unless you have something beefier like Aprilia or Yamaha DT125 2-strokes...

Totally agree. I *only* just made it on my CBR. Really had to give it the beans. Felt like a chav in a Nova.

The sharp corner before hand doesn't help matters.

The observing instructors (DAS people) made the smarmy comment of, "well you changed up too early". I was sitting there thinking, if I dont change up my engine is going to explode
