Let me set the scene... hehe

Turned up at the bike training track where we all have our own bikes assigned to us so we get to know the bike and its erm 'features'. Only to discover someone else has been assigned my bike even though it clearly has my name on it.

Oh well jump on another bike same make size etc and start a practice run on the swerve, and nearly miss the stop, and crush my nuts on the tank, not good. Practice the U turn and no the bars are different, I'm like a foot over each time.

So I'm in panic mode now. Get off the bike go sit down and have a drink of water.

Swap my gloves for some bigger ones with less padding so i get better feedback through the bars (well it seemed to help in my head).

Calmed down now and get back on training track and practice all the maneuvers and nail them all but still struggling with u turn. End up having to put the bike almost in full lock and lean it right over while shifting my weight to the outside of the turn. Perfect! Do it a few more time and its nailed.

Do one more loop of the circuit and all is well.

Off to test center feeling good.

All the maneuvers were perfect no marks bar the U-Turn, I hit the line!

Gutted. Sadly that's it for me now until next year when I can get some free time off work.

Sorry to hear that mate, just keep at it. At least you sorted those nerves for the real thing. Sometimes these stupid little things catch us all out. At least it's only 15 quid :)

Just so annoyed withmyself as that = 800 quid down the drain :(

Can start it all again at easter lol... give me time to save up the cash again.

£800?? thats bad then. Ive failed mine 3 times already lol but I did it on 125 so thats £45... First time was due to stupid mistake - didnt use foot brake on em stop  2nd and 3rd time I failed due to using bike I didnt know at all... Now Im gonna try DAS...

OK 800 quid not wasted it was a DAS course, CBT - 125cc and 500cc but feels like its wasted as I failed lol.

Was good fun all in all.

Will look for a new school and try again though now I've calmed down :P

Shame you can't get some time off from work soon as waiting till next year is not the best option as probably you will require some extra training and not only the retake fees which are probably about £100 with your school.

Anyway good luck next time you will be ready to take mod 1 again.
