a request from me to everyone out there to help me on this one, i am wanting to make a blanket for mikey, our little man, but i am low on the nacessity, wool, and i am asking you kind people out there if you would have a look to see if you can find any old wool you might have lying around in your lofts, cupboards or boxes. i not bothered what the wool is, what colour it is or how much there is, any would be appreciated and used. i make blankets for lots of people but this is going to be a big one, not the baby blankets i have been making.

what i thought would be nice was to make it for him, hopefully by xmas, and give it to him as a pressie from all of us.

i will post a photo soon of what i mean.

would anyone like to help? PM me if you have some and need my addy :)

i need as much as, its going to be a single size blanket, an average ball is 200g, i need a minimum of 20 balls to make it nearly big enough. i already have a few but nowhere enough, and i not bothered what colours but the more colourful the better for him :)

Sorry Bex, I've got loads of other kind of 'making' stuff - paper, card, fabric, ribbons etc etc but not wool. Well I have got some but it's for making a blanket for my daughter I'm afraid :(

That is exactly what I was going to do but can't find 200g balls of wool. Can only find 100 or 50g balls. There are loads on ebay. Bex give us a link to what you want and I will buy some and get it sent to yours.

Paul I believe the 100g and 150g balls will be ok, I think Bex just used the 200g balls as an means of example of how much wool she needs!

Your all good en's ain't ya! :thumb:
