mealexme Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 *when its NOT on the bike, smart asses! I only ask because when its dripping wet, you cant store it outside because the inside will get wet and you cant leave it in the house unless you want to come home to a nice big puddle... So what do you do with it? Quote
RantMachine Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Frequently in a nearby hedge, which is why I haven't been putting it on the bike much in all this wind Serious answer though, when the covers are soaking we shake the worst of it off then hang them from the wooden chairs in the kitchen and mop the floor later. stumblebum Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I just roll mine up and stick a lump of wood on top so it doesn't blow away! Quote
RantMachine Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Oh, look at Mr Smarty Pants with his rational ideas Quote
Dynamo_Delboy Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I just shake some of the rain off it then throw it in the boot of the car Quote
numptyspence Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 shake off the worse and drop it in the sink, or a over a bowl/plastic box. Quote
BikerMooFromMars Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Serious answer though, when the covers are soaking we shake the worst of it off then hang them from the wooden chairs in the kitchen and mop the floor later.Liar... Also...WD40 is my cover usually Quote
guitarman Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Shake off the rain and put it in the shed stretched out as much as the junk in there will allow. If it's not wet, I roll it up and put it in the porch. Roll on the summer, when I move to a house with a garage Quote
Tiggie Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I have one of these in my garden that I throw my cover in. it only has the kids toys inside usually so I'm not too bothered if they get wet http://i945.photobucket.com/albums/ad300/TOLOFSON/box2.jpg Quote
Tankbag Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I just fold mine back down http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa3/tankbag/bikehome.jpg Quote
mealexme Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 aaaah, I hate living in someone elses house sometimes. On the back of the chair, in the sink and in the shower are all out of the question. So is one of those awesome bike tent things Quote
Tiggie Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I have a bike tent but no where to put it as its next to impossible to get my bike into the garden and I have no driveway I'm keeping it for when we eventually move though I would prefer a nice heated garage Quote
Glorian Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 *when its NOT on the bike, smart asses! Damn you saw me coming..I have an old bbq cover (temporary) but i only put it on when it's proper crap weather as its a pain in the arse, I am in the process of building a micro shed style thing to store my bike in daily as it saves having to worry about locking up and covering in one simple package!
