I have Yamaha ybr 125 (2012) and one of the dashboard lights went out. I am trying to look up how to disassemble speedometer but I cant even find what bulb do I need in a first place. Maybe I am putting wrong terms in google search or something.

T10 or 501 bulbs usually fit dash backlights.

Pulling the dash off is quite easy. Unplug it and remove securing bolts from its bracket, then work on getting the back cover off and you'll find your bulb sockets. Or that's how it is on the CBF125 so I imagine it will be easy.

I reckon 284 or 286 - 501 is probably a bit chunky.

some odd ones to find are the T3's that yamaha have used in the past hopefully not in the YBR! although they have in my FJR :x

I find the fowlers website useful when I need bits. They seem to suggest t10 bulbs https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/54 ... ic-x/meter I guessed the colour I don't think it matters...

Stu they have t3s but they're quite pricey aren't they!! Sadly they don't sell a trip microswitch for a 125 intruder separately you have to buy the whole loom :( my workmate spends her lunch hour looking at the burberry website I look through this

If It's these you're after http://www.miniinthebox.com/t10-white-l ... wwodm78Flg they seem cheap enough here. I find that T10's seem to blow more often than most bulbs, so the LED one's are the way to go, if they fit of course. If you do buy LED's, don't forget that they only work one way round, so if you put them in and they don't work, turn them round. ;)
