_MILLA Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 It's fair to say I'm a newbie to motorbikes, just turned 27 and I've done my cbt and put a deposit down on a bike I'm going to collect next weekend! It's a Suzuki van van that's already been chopped and dropped to look like a bobber!! (As seen below)I'm definatelty going to white wall the tyres but I can't seem to find any white walls to fit it, does anyone have the answer... Do I need to change the wheels ? Or the tyres ?"Also, if anyone else has any suggestions on what would look nice, go ahead and give me some ideas!! See if you can re-route those cables if you can and do something about that massive long speech cable (or whatever it is)2 - It would look a whole lot better if you could get those bits around the engine and under the seat in to a box such as a dummy oil tank or battery box.Don't know about the tyre availability but if you can't get some then there is tyre paint on the market.Paint wise, I reckon it'd look pretty smart with a bit of matt black mixed in there. Most companies won't touch a bike that's been modified so extensively, especially as you're a new rider, so it'll be a specialist insurer for you. Good luck. Frankly it looks like someone failed to even achieve a half-assed job on it... Looks a bit unloved Find something in better condition, learn and gain experience on it, then down the line get something to mod if you want. I suspect that thing will cause all sorts of nightmares. If you do go through with buying it make sure you get a full face lid with a extra dark visor in case you see any one you know while your riding it. Not just for you, but what happens if you hit someone else's pride and joy or injure someone. I take it you've never been hit by an uninsured driver? If you had, this wouldn't be coming up...As for your original question...need a massive tidy up. Route all the cables away and wrap or paint it. Yes white walls will make it look a bit better, but if you hadn't done so, invest in some decent quality kit. If anything falls off that thing just make sure you slide/fly well. No insurance company will touch it unless mods are declared.So you are looking at a hefty bill to any 3rd party injured / killed by you.Driving without insurance. The offences go on and on.Grow up. You're essentially driving without insurance.Being on the other end of an accident where the driver was not insured, I hope you get caught the second you start riding it.
