RantMachine Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 We don't have to, if general consensus on the day is that people want to do the Berkhampstead route (which I must admit looks quite nice) or Hadleigh (Essex, ick) then I'm happy enough pottering along to the start point to meet everyone then going my own merry way. There must be some half decent lanes between The Star and Cambridge... Quote
Glorian Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Hadleigh was going to be least likely IMO as its more built up.Walden / berkhampstead will be the 2 to vote on. Quote
Hoggs Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 me and Hoggfather will vote for Walden as we have already been to Berkhamsted Quote
soll Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Ill go with which ever is the furthest away. the Hadleigh one is on one of the routes i thought about doing so no rush for that. Quote

soll Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Guessing we have lunch at pub, is there a fuel station near said pub? Quote
Glorian Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 Lunch at pub is optional. I'm only planning to grab a drink then see if i can grab a sandwhich and eat it at the castle (I imagine there is a field to laze about on)Only doing about 20 miles to the castle from the pub, little back roads and lanes. So dont worry to much about fuel. Quote
