aleyj Posted May 20, 2016 Share Posted May 20, 2016 My rear tyre on my zzr1400 looked a little low on tread in the centre (a bit square!), so just checked em with a digi tyre depth thingy. Looks like I have around 1.5mm in the centre, and around 2.3 at the sides! (I need to find some corners quickly and go scratching to round em off me thinks!)I also have a training course in city of London in a weeks time, so going to be commuting for a week on the bike from Cambridge, anyone know what m/b parking is like in London?So should I just replace the tyre, not sure what mileage I'll get for the .5mm left before they become illegal anyway.So was looking for some advice on what tyres are a good replacement. Anyway, so what do you recon on the tyres, I was thinking of Bridgestone BT 023, or are there cheaper alternatives that are just as good?
