Right.

Got to go down to Shepperton Tuesday, back Thursday night. Interviewing for a new station we are opening in Surrey.

Is it worth taking the bike?

It would be head down ass up both ways.

Will it save me any time on the M25 etc.?

Other thing is I seem to only be able to do 100 mile max before needing a rest.

Mmmmm decisions decisions.

M25 will probably be broken so a bike will probably be faster! Depends where you can leave your bike overnight there are a shed load of thefts :( also of you're not used to riding in London it sucks. And also if you are used to it it sucks. People will try to kill you

But the weather is looking nice so.... 8-)

Bike will be parked up in the hotel car park.

Holiday inn at Shepperton.

Luckily that's also where the interviews will be held. So once there it will be parked up till I'm going home.

I know what you mean about the not used to driving in London bit.

When I was last down for the football a few month back I could have murdered several people and was in the car :D

shepperton isnt london but i must agree the m25 could be crap and bike could be quicker if you enjoy filtering but it also depends on the time of day you are travelling down and back up again

Well decision taken out my hands really.

We are having the back garden done and the builders need to access through the garage with the sand cement etc.

Bike kept in garage....lol

No body to move said bike on daily basis.

Look out for me Hoggs.

The clueless one on the M25 :crybaby:

The hotel car park looks secure enough

no you go past the m40 to the m3 and up that way unless you want to go all round uxbridge hayes feltham and then towards staines you can add almost an hour onto journey time if you go that way

A30 rings a bell?

I will look at auto route in the morning.

Its the Holiday inn at Sheperton where i am going.

Any advice dodging traffic much appreciated :thumb:

I'd go round to the Chertsey junction on the M25 and go in from there. I'm pretty sure I stayed there a few years back......I think it was fairly secluded if it's the same place.

I work not far from there, your bike should be pretty ok in the Holiday Inn, yes the M25 will be crap, they always seem to put the 40 MPH Queue caution signs on from Jct 14 or 13 until you get past Jct 11 for absolutely no reason most of the time.

You can get off at Jct 11 and go through Chretsey or go down to Jct 1 of the M3 and get off at Sunbury Cross, not much to gain either way, although going down the M3 will probably be clearer.

The clueless one on the M25:

That doesn't narrow it down much

hope you dont mean hoggs will be on the m25 im sure she is a north circular type of girl

ha! Yeah thankfully I don't need to venture on to the M25 too often

If you filter Neil look out for people opening their doors whilst stopped, always a fun one that!
