Waterproof boots

Ok, so I know this has been asked a lot but thought I'd start a new thread just to be a pain

What do you recommend as a good waterproof boot. Bought some Merlin boots back in Feb and they are crap.

My Gore-Tex Daytona boots are waterproof but weren't cheap.

Look for boots with Gore-Tex, there are other membranes available, liners.

RST have had good reviews on here.

Tested in heavy rain up a34, m40 and m6 for 5 and a half hours. My gloves and jacket gave up the ghost on keeping water out within the first hour it was that heavy. Even had to shut my vents as water was getting in.

Boots were bone dry.

+1 for Daytona Gore-Tex. Dry and very comfortable; I often wear them all day at work.

TCX goretex boots are pretty good......I've recently got a pair of S-speed goretex boots and I'm pretty happy with them......

+1 for Trachtech Evo's. Ridden trough many monsoons with these and my feet are always the inly thing that stays dry.

Quality bit of kit. Keep you warm too.
