Arwen Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Oo kitties! I'm trying to persuade my work a good moral booster would be to had some dogs and cats around the place. So when people are feeling annoyed at management we can go cuddle a pet and be all happy And goats! I have a bit of a thing for goats Really cute and funny animals.I thought we already had a thread on this, but anyways, I've shared my life for the past 12 years with a Sengal parrot called ZaZu.I'm not sure what age she is, as she was an adult when I got her. She could easily be in her 20's or 30's. Starting to act a bit like it now too, falling asleep while watching TV the other night... Quote

Arwen Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Oh she's So Cute! What's her character like?We used to have an African Grey who could be a real grouch when she wanted She can be a proper grumpy old lady some times, other times she just wants to cuddle all the time. -"> Generally she is pretty independent and curious in everything. Timid of new things at first, but eventually comes around. Trying to harness train her just now so I can take her outside to fly around, it's taking a long time to get her comfortable with it though. Arwen Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Ooh a parrot I don't know if I could keep a bird alive.. probablyt let it fly into a fan knowing me o.o They are not too difficult to keep to be honest. Not for everyone however. They are a bit like having a toddler around- keep them entertained, well fed and give them a bath every few days and you are fine! The issue is getting a "parrot-sitter" for going away on hoilday. A current issue I am having. Probably similar as having goats though! Quote

A must is a conservatory , for when the w*^^nker has a squawking fit, you can launch him out in it Quote
