TC1474
Is this another nail in the coffin for Top Gear?http://www.motor1.com/news/131381/top-gear-test-track-development/?utm_content=bufferca5ee&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Throttled
It is finished as a comedy/challenge car show and should go back to proper reviews of cars people can drive. Just find presenters better than Fifth gear who only found each other funny.
aleyj
RIP BBC TG, rise of the GT!
rob m
Top Gear was finished a long time ago, like Clarkson's hairstyle and fashion sense. Nail in the coffin? More like a bullet to the head to put it out of its misery.
Guest
Last week's Grand Tour was crap. First week was OK, second week I thought was brilliant and it had nothing to do with cars.Top Gear had already had its day years ago, and Grand Tour need to be careful not to become a clone of the same gaffs and the same tired humour and keep it fresh or it won't last long as an Internet production. For instance are they really going to do an entire season where a celebrity gets killed on the way to the interview? Is the fat American idiot going do a whole season of jokes about his truck having more horsepower? Some of it is getting tired already and we've only had three episodes.Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
RantMachine
I got bored of GT by the end of the second episode. I think that part of the fun of old TG was them trying to be as daft as possible within the BBC's strict set of rules. Not so entertaining when they have absolute freedom and a bottomless budget. Mr Fro
Is it still going? I thought the ginger twat killed it stone dead.
Joeman
All seems a little convenient don't you think??BBC lost their star presenters, everyone has predicted the end of top gear as they can't compete with the GT.So instead of admitting defeat, they build a housing estate on the test track thus giving them a good reason to end the show.. Guest
Watching this week's now. We all know how the battleships board game works, and one you seen three cars fall from a crane into a pile of pyrotechnics, you've seen them all.Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Throttled
I know, but I still laugh at GT and that is why I watch it. When I stop laughing, I'll give up with it.
