Anti-fog stuff

[Liveware Problem]

I have a problem I'm sure a few of you are familiar with - when slowing down and stopping my glasses steam up, have to open up my visor and wait for them to clear before moving off.

The visor is fine thanks to the pinlock but the glasses issue is a pain and not exactly safe either!

Are there any decent products for stopping or at least reducing the steaming up? I've seen plenty online but no real idea if they work.

I have the same issue, I bought mucoff anti fog which can use on glasses. It doesn't do much though. I just tend to open visor a bit when stopping at lights and breath through my nose, that seems to work 90% of the time. If they do fog up, it goes within a second of moving off.

Look at the stuff we use in ice hockey. Never fogged my hockey visor. I'd avoid anything the paintball people use though as that stuff never works.

The problem with detergent is that to get the glass clear you have to get all of the detergent off. If you are prepared to put up with a bit of haze then it works.

I haven't found anything that is perfect, they all have a compromise, normally a bit of haze. The one I have stuck with is Bob Heaths Anti fog.

Spray on a light mist and let it dry, there is a bit of a haze but I can live with it. It's not perfect but does help.

Yep - I can tolerate the haze for the price of the solution.

I think that if you have that anti-glare coating on your lenses, washing up liquid will take it off much quicker than it normally lasts.

I've never paid for any gimmick coating on my glasses so I wouldn't know. I'm just cheap I guess.

This will be the final option I think! Not opposed to them but as I only need them for riding at the moment I suppose I'd have to take them out/put them back in every time..

Just had a thought about this as I have the same issue. When scuba diving I use baby shampoo in my mask and rinse it off. Wonder if it will work on my glasses?
