I am a total technophobe and useless with phones. They ring I pick them up, I text, I google......That's it!

I currently have a Samsung s3 and have just been bought a Samsung J510 cos the S3 has a broken screen.

I am Sim free and only have the 1 Sim card. How the "F" do I get all my stuff from one phone to the other?

Ive googled loads of threads about this but none seem relevant............can I do it with only one Sim or do I need to buy another Sim?

Make sure all your stuff is synced to your Google account. Connect new phone to the WiFi and check everything arrives on the new phone.

I've always just used the Google account method, which works brilliantly. Just need to make sure the contacts from your SIM are all stored on the phone and then synced online.

However, many shops will transfer things over for you if you pop in - could try a branch of whichever network you're with (assuming it's a high-street one).

I had the same thing few weeks back , I had to make a small deposit into my bank account which was refunded the next day and just had to input a few personal details... send me your bank account details , date of birth , mothers maiden name , your first pets name , the town you was born in and I'll do it all for you

Samsungs have a neat xfr app. You run it on one phone then hold the two phones together and they xfr everything.

If all else fails do a Google search for My Phone Explorer, it works.
