So it turns out I need a c-spanner to adjust the chain tension on my bike, which should have been in the bike's tool kit. However, the tool kit turned out to be empty.

I've been having a look around, and Triumph ones (where available) seem to be about £15, but also somewhat flimsy-looking.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for one that's worth getting?

Hi

The triumph C spanner for the concentric hub is useless too short and wobbly I bought a purpose made one from Amazon. then sold the bike :( Got a R1200RT instead :)

Its now used as a hook to hold my keys. If your round the Manchester area its yours for a tenner

Is there anything I should be doing other than throwing it at a mechanic as per maintenance schedule?

Posted

Nothing.......If you trust the mechanic to actually maintain the hub....... I'm very much DIY.......

Agree. Clive Wood is the man to see. His reputation speaks for itself. Does an excellent job, works completely different to run of the mill dealers.
