chain problem

Bikes with any power dont use chain links anymore


A 125 might? But I would be surprised if a 600 does


They need to be ground off and riveted with a special tool

 

Nah, you can get the split links still for bigger bikes and they can be used. They're obviously not as good as a correctly riveted link, but they aren't just going to come off and they are safe for use.

True. If I wasn't going to keep changing sprockets and sometimes swingarms, I'd probably fit a rivet link, as I have on my roadbike, but no reason not to fit a split link.
