What do you use to keep waterproof boots, er, waterproof?

My second hand rst raptor 2 boots look like they need a bit of attention. Although they kept my feet nice and dry during a ride out on Monday, it would be reassuring to give them some care now. What products do the right honourable members favour?

I use Leather Genie, I've used Renapur, both great products, the key is to treat em regularly

I've been to the local outdoor shop today. For new boots there is a Nikwax that softens and water proofs. For older boots there is one that restored and water proofs. Its pretty easy to get hold of. Probably Millets and Cotswold.

Wilmas bear cream. Smells proper woodsy and is superb on leather boots.

Back in the day, we used to use something called "Mars Oil" - it worked great, especially on gloves, but had the slight side-effect of leaving you smelling like a herrings ar**hole........not good in polite company......
