JackieOWheels Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 I can see the benefits of doing some light service work but I would imagine there are some stuff that you should leave to the professionals right? Quote
raesewell Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 BMW make it as difficult as possible for you to do your own servicing, you can buy a GS 911 to perform a lot of tasks, but the bike still needs to be connected to the BMW mothership for certain tasks. Quote
skyrider Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 great and there i was thinking of obtaining an f650gs Quote
raesewell Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 I had an F 650 as a loan bike once, it was like riding a Kango road drill. Quote
skyrider Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 is that something to do with the suspension Quote
raesewell Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 I think it was mainly to do with it being a single cylinder bike. Quote
skyrider Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 that should be ok then as i already have a single trail bike Quote
