Looks a nice fish. 'Tis a pike, third one along that stretch this afternoon. The first one didn't even wait for the lure to hit the water, he came at it before it had hit the surface. Quote

Pike have lots of very sharp teeth. They also have a anti-coagulant so once they bite you bleed forever. Fortunately this one was cleanly hooked in the lip so I could release the lure easily. Quote
