Trooper74 Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 (edited) We're "On the Rail "I survey and observe testing of traction control systems on passenger rolling stock and on track plant ..Here's one we did earlier ... I'm the Design Authority for the equipment we install .... which in real world terms means ... Me and Mick design the systems, with help on the software from Alex, Chris and his team install them, and I sign them off as safe back into traffic ...No pressure then ...lol Edited November 12, 2020 by Trooper74 Quote

Trooper74 Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 If you've ever travelled on one of these ... ( 2 x 220 Voyagers "multiple working" ) ... ??It doesn't slide through Red signals or over run the platforms because of our automatic traction control systems .... we spray sand in quantities dependant on speed between the wheels and the rail head ...
