@learningtofly are Tirumph riders particularly subnormal or right wing? :P Or is it just another case of the loud and stupid?

Well at least I can spell Triumph! Definitely not right wing though.

CONGRATULATIONS you have a dinner invite!

I live in a house of pedants, a misspelling, spoonerism, malapropism, one minor slip up and your point will go down in flames, the howling derision will be ringing in your ears for days.

I read a slightly interesting article in The Independent yesterday entitled “Judging a person on their spelling and grammar reveals more about you than it does about them” and was gonna correct the typo but decided to leave it in and see who just had to pick up on it. In the interests of disclosure if the the boot was on the other foot it may well have been me :D

So let me me know when you’re available to pull up a chair, you’ll fit right in but I have to warn you if your too erudite, your discussion too articulate or eloquent you will be plied with wine until you start tripping up and then the real fun begins

Health Service? F@ck that Commie shit! And let the kids starve as well!

You know, for once, I'd really like to people to come clean on their real reasons that they support these populists.

Limited intellect and lack of education obviously play a big part....but I've no doubt that in the majority of cases it's hearing the Politicians actually reinforcing the ingrained beliefs that they actually have. And then feeling an empathy with them.

That's actually much more worrying than just plain stupidity.

Because Nigel is the only one who isn't afraid to tell the truth about Europe we beat the Hermans in the war and now they rule Britain we built the Spitfire but Angela Merkel tells us what to do they make laws in Brussels but I'm not racist against them I like pate on a slice of toast but not that one with bits in Britain is an island and when we fight alone we always win well maybe not Dunkirk but that was different and we make the best tea all politicians are liars so are journalists and doctors and scientists only Trump and Nigel tell the truth cos they are the only ones brave enough that haven't been got at by the establishment I left school with no qualifications and shovel shit for a living but I know what I know stop the count every vote counts Nigel for PM.

You do make a compelling argument it has to be said Mark!

But don't forget those Muslamic Ray Guns who want to impose Sharia Law on everybody and ban Xmas, Easter, and poppies.

Can't stand Trump but before we get all holier than thou remember that almost 70 million people voted for him and they are not all brain dead. I've got some friends and family in the US. The family reluctantly voted Democrat as they really didn't like Trump but the friends voted Republican because they hated even the whiff of socialism associated with the Democrats.

I’ve always thought of the dems as just to the right of Cameron’s Tories?

I am just saying that not all Triumph riders are stupid. Some of us are reasonably literate.

And if I over-indulge in wine I tend to fall asleep long before anything more interesting happens.

Vodka n redbull for you then. Though I think there are more vicious drinks of that ilk available now?
