Dossie Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 I am looking for a thin rubber matt/cover that hooks on to the bike frame underneath the seat. It flaps over the battery on one side and the air filter on the other. It looks like it stops any water running down off of the tank from going on to the battery. Can you help? Quote
dynax Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 I have a 2002 CG and have never seen one on mine, i doubt it would make much difference but if you really want one then make something to suit, it shouldn't be that hard to cut something suitable to do the job 1 Quote
fastbob Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) Having rebuilt a number of older CG125's , I too do not know what part you are referring to . What year is your bike ? Maybe this is a modification . When you say the Air Filter , do you mean the Airbox or do you mean a Pod Filter ? If it's a Pod Filter then this is probably a modification done when someone realised how badly the bike ran especially when it's sucking in water . I've checked the CMSL website and I can find no reference to any rubber flaps that straddle the frame in the area of the airbox or battery . I trust this is a Honda CG125 and not one of the plethora of imitations . Edited November 29, 2020 by fastbob Quote
Dossie Posted November 30, 2020 Author Posted November 30, 2020 Thanks both. It's a 2004 Honda CG125. I will get a picture of it later today so you can see. Apologies for my limited knowledge, I am only just entering the motorbike world. Thanks Quote
Bender Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Take it off if you have a damaged one and make a copy. Quote

husoi Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 If it is just a rubber cover why don't you buy one silicone matt used in cooking and put it in? For the look of it is just a cover. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/264713877497?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-153316-527457-8&mkcid=2&itemid=264713877497&targetid=4584619895229426&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=&poi=&campaignid=398226952&mkgroupid=1296324443769585&rlsatarget=pla-4584619895229426&abcId=2145997&merchantid=87779&msclkid=f690b792a1a510c159c7e85b7b4059dd Quote
