It, effectively, ties your hands should you wish to protest, and MAG has been instrumental in protests (eg. Attempting to bring Harry Dunn’s killer to justice). Anyone attending a protest with, say, a loud exhaust would fall under this legislation. Having taken part in various MAG mass demonstrations in the 1980s I think you may have missed the point . If the protesters assemble in sufficient numbers , the police lack the resources to make individual prosecutions . 2 Quote

There were quite a lot of people at Clapham Common, it didn’t stop them from picking a few out. Quote

Ian Frog Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Like @fastbob I have been at some of the MAG demos in London and he is quite right several hundred bikers ignoring the helmet law caused a logistic nightmare for the police, after all nick us by all means then have the headache of removing the bikes from the streets of the capitol. A met sarge said to us "We just want you to F off out of the way and not leave stuff for us to clear away before traffic starts tomorrow" It was different times but for some strange reason I miss them a bit. Cheers Ian 2 Quote
