husoi Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 There are millions of different videos on youtube about the subject. I think the guy with the most uploads is the "ride like a pro" american fella. I found this one to be detailed with very interesting tips at the end. As obvious, this clip is dedicated to those who are starting or if you never get around perfecting your U-turn technique. A final note, practice makes perfect and you can never overpractice 2 Quote
manxie49 Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Good video, It took me ages "and a few drops" to properly master the skill, once it clicked I realised that all I needed was just that added bit of confidence. I did a course a few years ago purely dedicated to slow riding and manoeuvring, it was a former Police motorcycle instructor that ran it. Courses like that are worth their weight in gold, i2i motorcycle academy does them as well, https://www.i2imca.com they're supposed to be over here in July and I was going to book a days training with them. Hanging fire at the moment though with lockdowns. I'm a great believer in maintaining my rider skills by doing the odd course here and there, both on track and road .... Helps keep me sharp. 1 Quote

MotorcycleTourer Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Positive throttle, clutch control, rear brake, and spin your head. And don’t touch the front brake! I did that. Once 4 Quote
