I can select colours to change the accent, but rest of the forum will still stay white.... is it possible to create an option for the entire forum to be viewed in a “Dark Mode”? It’s much easier on the eyes in low-light surroundings.

This requires a completely different theme at the cost of about $35 and not something I can justify just yet!

I do feel your pain though the white IMO is a bit bright!

Is this a one-time fee and becomes available to all members?

Then a renewal of $10 every 6 months

I would need to find a dark theme that would work too

Will the current number of contributions cover the extra $10?

Hopefully yes

As I say I would still need to find a suitable theme out of the ones that are available

There is a few available though but they are different to this one

Ok...

I’ll happily stick my hand in my own pocket and pay the £27/$35 but I wouldn’t want to commit to the reoccurring fees... at least not single-handedly.

If there is enough interest and desire for this feature (rather than 2 members currently) then I’ll happily make the contribution. Is there a way to make this more visible on the forum and see what the members would like? And also, if they will actually use it?

I usually turn down the screen brightness when it gets dark :thumb:

Already something I do, thanks for the suggestion though!

The only thing I could do to make it more visible is make it sticky but that doesn't always work

I am already looking at what themes are available but the hard thing is the logo as its a whit background! So I need something that would look good with it too

I’ll monitor the situation for now then and leave the rest in your capable hands.

Thanks Stu 👍

Happy to share this initial cost with you - saved more than that from some of the advice given on here 👍
