Hello members, What are the names and uses of these devices on a motorbike

The top pic looks like a Reg/Rec (Regulator/Rectifier)

does it have wires coming out of the other side?

Agree looks like a regulator/rectifier, 

is the second a pump of some sorts?

yes looks like maybe a vacuum pump for the carb(s)

where does the pipe go?

Looks like a pump where do the tubes go to?

Second pic is a vacuum valve.

It prevents backfiring while in idle by stopping air flow to the carb when throttle is released.
